HI my name is Igor i start watching your videos few days ago:), and can relate as also an ultrasound technician. I have graduated in 2007, back then the companies that i was applying for work didnt ask about whether or not i was ARDMS, so longs story short ,most on the companies i would work back then where not requiring ARDMS and were mobile. Fast forward now im in my late 30s and everywhere i look requires ARDMS, i went to try and passing SPI few years ago and failed it with 375/555, now i am so frustrated and tired emotionally that i dont know where and how to starts to prepare for SPI, i have edelman copy workbook, and also i have registered to ultrasound registry review, to be honest i rarely understood physics back when i was in school and now 10+ years later iam dumbfounded. I practice the mock exams from ultrasound registry review and to bo honest 70% material i dont understand, because i never used it before and iam sure will never use it in the future if i pass it. Long story short please advise me how to prepare efficiently and passionately, and to overcome this SPI Nightmare. Thank you!

Im here to help! You are in the middle of a huge pivot and right now, you have to get ahold of your goal and stay motivated. You were very close to passing when you first tried. I have worked with sonographers who did not make it on their first attempt so don't be discouraged by that. Graduating with honors has nothing to do with how well you'll work in the future and your scores are not a factor in interviews. I made a 555. True story. And I like physics! I think it helps me understand more about God and thats why it fascinates me. So find an angle about physics that draws you in and study it in that mindset and then its not going to dumbfound you but instead, encourage you! You are doing well with Edelman and having practice tests. Keep going over the questions. 100 a day then 55 then 4 then 175 then 78 questions a day. Even on my day off from studying I would go over a few. I did the best studying from KZbin and subscribing to ultrasound physics pages on Instagram. Id wash dishes and watch a video. Id walk to the postoffice and listen to the same podcast. These are the two media platforms I use most in my everyday life. So maybe you like podcasts. There are podcasts on Ultrasound Physics! Don't be discouraged because you can master this info enough to make a 555. I hope this helps. Im selling my physics notes, practice tests and books on PoshMark if you want those resources.

@@-attemptingtherandom-2777 thank you leigh i just been in a weird position in life right now, my materials now are ultrasoundregistryreview mock exams so far iam faled them all first attemtp, so feeling discouraged and really frozen, on how to approach it better. we know that 90% of spi we will never use in the future, i never came across in my work before had to use formula or looking back to my class notes it was mostly go go go scan good image, thank you, next

Insulation should lay lightly and evenly in the wall and be cut to fit between the studs, compressed or twisted FBatt Insulation reduces native R-value. spray foaming where the where the sheathing attaches to the studs is ok to aid the air barrier quality but should be done before fiberglass installation. Avoid stapling and taping the paper facing to the front of the studs and add plastic sheeting over the studs also for more air barrier protection. Generally I would say to stay away from placing a hodgepodge of insulation in your walls for a uniform R factor....but if this was free, ......well.....you can't beat free.
@-attemptingtherandom-27773 жыл бұрын
Great info. I thank you. I'll research these more. I only used one can as I quickly found that would take more $. What do you think about stuffing with news paper?
@wondernutts3 жыл бұрын
@@-attemptingtherandom-2777 the main concern that you should have stuffing it with newspaper is the flammability, secondly newspaper absorbs moisture, and anything that absorbs moisture ruins R-value, may cause mold, and attract pest. They do make insulation that is made from newspaper but it is specially treated with chemicals. Specifically treated with boric acid to make it flame retardant and pest resistant, it may also be treated with hydrophobic compounds to prevent water absorption, this insulation is typically blow in. It's called cellulose insulation , I suppose in theory you can mix boric acid in with super shredded (basically powdered) newspaper until you get a mix that won't burn... a video test on ASTM burn standards for cellulose insulation should show you what kind of burning patterns you should expect once the paper has been properly treated. But then you have the whole playing with boric acid thing, which is something you can buy at most stores, I'm not trying to give you ideas I'm just saying in Theory LOL
