Not sure which guitarist was tech for Metallica Master of Puppets(The Ultimate Sin Tour support) but, after Hetfield busted his wrist falling off a skateboard, Metallica performed as a five piece with the Metal Church guitarist on rhythm, including San Francisco @Cow Palace. This may have been Metallica's single greatest performance in their entirety (Day on the Green '84 Oakland Coliseum, Ride the Lightning homecoming is #2, all time.)
