Noticed the white scales on my crape mrytle a week ago. Washed the trunk with soap twice and applied imidacloprid today. Hope that will stop the scales from spreading.

Looks good to me thanks You should have one like at least. Only problem is most of mine have ground cover around base of them and maybe I should clear that and make a mulch area for this type of treatment.

Alhadi. A typical seeding rate in our state is 80 to 100 thousand seeds per acre which can result in a stand of 65 to 80 thousand plants per acre. Under ideal conditions growers might choose the lower rate.

Ill never understand this fear of crappie when ive fished so many old ponds that had no problem with crappie. Ive seen sources that say you need to have overcrowed bass to keep crappie frpm becoming dinks. However my grandads pond had nothing but big bass and crappie. Not over populated at all. No maintenace or management. I just dont get it.

Larry I've emailed you multiple times in the past and follow your recommendations . We are using liberty/flexstar as soon as we see stragglers from initial burn down with great results. The beans are lapping the middles now and as long as the Palmer pigweed doesn't have seeds then we are getting good results. You introduced me to metribuzine and I'm very thankful . It's saved us thousands of dollars because of the low price and it works. Thank you for your passion for helping the agriculture way of life. PS ,we are getting bad dicamba damage from our neighbor farmers on our Liberty beans.

Hi! I am learning about cover crop use by reading everything i can find on the Internet and browsing the KZbin. I decided to try it out in my part of Europe, probably as one of the pioneers if it's doable. I am happy to find your uploads in many learning occasion and i congratulate on the work you are doing. The main reason i write is that, i have a question or two: when should be the cover crop rye seeded for rolling down in April (for timely seeding the cashcrop corn or in my gardens for the vegetables)? Please try to consider the 3 months winter period in my part of the world.
