Good set up so far the problem with putting your solar panel on the roof permanently more often than not you don’t set up in direct sunlight you look for a bit of shade so that’s when a mobile position panel works well as you lay it out in the sun and not your whole camp looking forward to the next video I am just starting same set up and was worried about my gull wing door going up to high but if that’s the case I’ll shorten the struts

It works .. it works good . Doesn't add Horsepower or torque, however with the idrive you release the full torque curve of the vehicle , you wouldn't feel without the idrive. Driving around town in ultimate mode I keep it adjusted 2-3

Hi Brendan. First time for me nice awning. Just one comment. Could you slow your camera movement down a little. The swirl movement is going to get some watchers seasick. Good luck with it

I had my ute tub internal plus top edges and rope rails done by Xtreme Coatings in Brisbane over 10 years ago. It has worn extremely well. I am very happy with it. It has carried lots of firewood, rubbish loads and camping gear. Nothing slides around in it not to mention boots walking all over it and the tub edges climbing in and out. I would definitely get it done again if I get another ute.

@holyparikrama
@holyparikrama Жыл бұрын
I got the same panels; it's been almost 12 months for me. One of the solar panel's legs came off! I couldn't refit because the screws are flat-head riveted. I expected them to be more sturdy for almost a $500 unit and 'outback proof' (as they advertise). I see other users had a similar issue with the legs (they commented on the product reviews). Emailed KickAss Support; let's see what they say.

How thick were the coil spacers you put on the front? Do they equate to 1:1 height difference, 25mm spacer = 25mm lift?

@@offroadaddiction1042 the ratio in most pick ups is 1:2 height.. That means 25mm spacers lift the car about 50mm

Sorry for making you all wait so long for an answer! The after ride was OK. Definitely not a good as it was, found it a bit more rigid in the back end, the front felt okay too but the shocks blew out after 6 months of hard 4wding, I now have Dobinsons 3” MMR Remote res shocks / springs in the front which are a unreal a year in. And most recently I have changed the whole rear leaf pack out for Old man Emu 300kg with all greasable pins etc as I now have a completely different rear end setup!
@justmytwocentsdontgetmad
@justmytwocentsdontgetmad Жыл бұрын
Coil spacers and shackles are just for aesthetics really. It's okay if you spend most of your time driving on paved roads or in urban areas. If you have an older truck that you used for 4WDing, these will wreak havoc if you use them on stock suspension . Best thing to do if you want to lift is either set aside a decent budget for a new suspension kit, or just get bigger wheels.
