Commissioner of Police, SPUWAC Dear Mam, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the disappointing service I experienced during my recent journey with LAXMIHOLIDAYS Bus Service, which starkly contradicts your reputation as the best bus operator in North India. On 15th June, 2024, I travelled on the bus numbered [NL 02B 5000] on the route from [Katra] to [Delhi] at 5 PM. During this same journey, several passengers, including women, Kids and elderly individuals, requested the bus driver to stop at a washroom facility due to urgent needs. Despite the repeated and reasonable requests, the driver refused to halt the bus for a washroom break. This refusal caused considerable distress and discomfort among the passengers, highlighting a lack of basic courtesy and concern for passenger well-being. Bus departed the Katra at 5 PM and at 7.15 PM, I asked Driver to stop so that I could use the restroom. I tried multiple times to get him to agree, but around 8 p.m., my 10-year-old daughter lost control, so I gave her a plastic bag to use for urinating. At 8:45 a.m., my husband contacted your manager, Mr. Anshul, to inquire as to why the bus driver was not stopping the vehicle. When the bus approached Pathankot, male passengers halted it, but he wouldn't allow me. I broke down in tears and said that I had to go to the bathroom immediately since I had been holding myself in for the past two hours and the urine hadn't come out in time, which was causing horrible stomach pain and vomiting. From Katra to Pathakot Road, there are 25+ pumps. The driver would stop the bus, but as he drives a truck in past, he would do it whenever he felt the need or want. I have already informed your senior management via email about these issues but have not received any reply. This lack of response is highly disappointing and suggests a disregard for my problem and concerns.
