I caught the transmission today and it suddenly stopped and changed back into the clock so I don’t think it’s a pirate but still weird.

Any evidences that Rock Russian Anthem is transmitted by pirates? It's played pretty often recently.

Installed this today. Seems solid but there does not seem to be a way to NOT make me appear to live in Toronto... which throws off the timing of the satellite AOS. RPi config has the correct locale and the settings.yml file has my correct coordinates (checked 4x)... still says I'm in Toronto. Also the issue where running install_and_update.sh fails every time... so I'm assuming that has something to do with the issue. All ears if you know of any fixes to these issues.

BTW the greater portion of nasa 66,000,000 dollar per day budget maintains the worlds largest team of stage film and studio cg ap producers. Do you think it inconceivable they may just beam your whole app & screen results direct from the ground? 🤦♂🤣

I guess your not technical at all. My aerial is directional and pointing at the ISS in the Sky, this is 137Mhz and a NFM transmission, Id like to see someone transmit from the USA to UK on NFM even ground based. Plus at certain times and with good cameras you can see the ISS in the sky.
@AV0362 ай бұрын
@@m3bik technical? You're pointing at something you assume is already 400km away over head, for what all of 2 seconds travelling at 27,000 kmh AND just under all that Van Allen radiation STATIC !!🤦♂🤣 My Grandfather was a long distance radio operator enthusiast well before nasas pseudo-sciunce started, i understand those signals transmit from tall ground boom to boom. I hardly see how a tiny light in the sky today reinforces your idiotic religious belief. I guess you've been well brainwashed "properly processed by nasa mission (mind) control" Oh right the frequency... 666 Mhz NFM? NASA-FAKE-MODULATION. Great detailed video. I have the same cable. I just received my radios ((UV-17)) and cable today. I followed it as far as I could but, never did find a "Prolific" driver. I ending up changing the radio model in CHIRP to the UV-17 Pro and it downloaded right away. TNX, 73.

Really good video! How did you manually set the input in Sdrconnect, i don't know how to set the input to audio cable. 73
@m3bik6 ай бұрын
SDRconnect outputs the audio and DSD picks it up, i wrote a bat file to start DSD with the relevant audio source as I have a number of sound cards and the default one isnt the one im using for this. I think in this video I might have been using a virtual audio cable.

Thanks for the great walk-through of how to install RaspiNOAA V2. I had to use the current May2024 version of VE3ELB image which has fewer steps, but using the supplied Readme file along with your video for a bit of reassurance, the install worked first time. I still have some tweaking and experimenting to do, but the Pi is now in the loft connected to a homebrew V-dipole via a short length of RG58 and working remarkably well so far. Cheers!

I can pick this up everyday until precisely 6 PM, here in Brazil, using just a 20 meter long ethernet cable stretched as an antenna, with all 8 wires soldered together at the end. The signal comes loud and clear, with some occasional fading.

Bit low in frequency for RADAR, but I am guessing some other data mode. According to monitoring times:- 6.736, and 6.751 MHz. Halifax uses all these frequencies. St. John's shows
