So how long did it actually take to place that one section? Thanks for the video.
@HikeTheSky4 ай бұрын
To get it up it took about ten minutes and to bolt it together at least another 20 to 30 minutes. And that's the initial bolting it down. Since I waited there for several hours already, I left after they started to bolt it down.

I witnessed the death of movie director Boris Sagal in 1981 on Mt Hood Oregon when he did the exact thing. Always, always tell your clients about proper approach and egress from the helo, and ask them " do you understand"?

We snuck into Sunken Gardens back in the 90's and I got to finally crawl across the catwalk. Looks like it's since been removed. A relic from a magical time long gone now. Must have been there 25 or 30 times in the 80's and 90's. Those were the daze.

Isnt flying over moving vehicles illegal
@HikeTheSky Жыл бұрын
Thank you for bringing this question up. I am sure you already know the answer but here is the answer again. As a commercial drone pilot, you are allowed to transition over moving vehicles. You can't maintain a sustained flight over a moving vehicle. You can always Google that answer as you know or just ask on Reddit.

Too bad people in Texas cannot explore their state everything is fenced off and owned by the rich
@HikeTheSky Жыл бұрын
Luckily at least the anti-drone laws the state had were considered unconstitutional. So this gives us more options to fly.

Why is it always someone else's fault? When you fly they give you a safety briefing, how many people actually listen, heard it before!
@HikeTheSky Жыл бұрын
The pilot gave it to every passenger before they lifted off and before they were landing. I heard the safety brief the first time.
@crazyralph6386 Жыл бұрын
It’s weird, but there’s something hypnotic about the T/R that attracts people to it. Had that happen a few times while flying drillers and jughounds in the field, even though they’ve been briefed a hundred times. None were ever struck, but some came very close. Probably didn’t help that half were on crack or meth? 😂
@vicranger68762 жыл бұрын
Stupid has no limit. I flew medevac for years and saw people do something like that even after a briefing. I agree with the comment about briefing a passenger to only exit toward the front, but even the LZ with sloping terrain seems to find people oblivious to dangers of main rotor, let alone the tail rotor.
