Don't anybody mention Richard Thompson. I think I might have mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it...

Mark asks the student to play a few bars of something he wrote and he starts to play Albuquerque by Neil Young. Hmm

I don’t like that guy with the red and white Strat, he seems conceited. Like he’s so good he can play with Mark.

Got to get a one on one guitar lesson from Mr. Knopfler would be an absolute dream come true. Jeezus.

I do agree with Mark about the tremelo. I hate seeing them used like that. Take a look at Hank Marvin for a masterclass on using the trem

These kids aren't listening to Mark at all. Especially the second guy with his whamalamadingdong bar! Dudes, when Mark gives you an instruction you stop what you are doing and do what he tells you, or next time he won't give you any instruction thinking you are too dense to learn. Why even take a masterclass with Mark Knopfler if you are so full of yourselves?... lol

I like the way the young men are so respectful of Mark and Mark has no airs and takes them seriously as well. As a non-music teacher of 25 years, I know that MK is a Master teacher. So patient, humble and an expert in his content. Joy to watch.

Gets to go to a masterclass with Mark Knopfler. Brings a guitar with a whammy bar. 🧐😕 🤔🤨

Guy gets a masterclass with Mark Knopfler. Shows up with a whammy bar on his guitar and barely lets Mark speak.
They should have done something about the outfits and the hairstyle of those students

Too little on mostly one student. Marl hears and picks up on every subtle thing. That's why he's so ggod.

Jimi was briefly my teacher around this time and i can tell you he's was a great metal player very technical and fast. Satriani, vai, EVH stuff. He got a bit of a raw deal on this one i think, not his style at that time
