It is disappointing to see what was pristine low land heath, which is the rarest type of land in the country ruined by the invasion of silver birch trees. This is not the beautiful dale I remembered as a child.

Having lived in Heswall back in the 60's-early 70's it was a blast from the past that has given me reason to visit again. Who knows, if it's not changed that much may move back now I'm near retirement? Thank you for triggering such happy memories, especially of 'The Shrimp man' who used to call door to door and sell shrimps by the cup, it was a weekly treat and fresh from the estuary. I can't thank you enough for your videos.
