Hey Callie, I have a few questions if you don't mind please: What's the time commitment for the build and deploy in public challenges? Can I complete a challenge in a single month only if I want to? Also, can we get a discount if we want to buy both and we are unemployed? And finally, can we start both at the same time ? That's a lot of questions I know 😅 Thank you!!
@codingwithcallieАй бұрын
@@exclusivenote Hi! Build in Public is more time intensive: 5-20 hours a week depending on the week/your familiarity level. Deploy in Public is about 5 hours per week. They are both self-paced. All of the content is available when you register, so you can take them as quickly or slowly as you’d like. Haha, sure. Message me on LinkedIn and I can give you a coupon code. And yes, but I’d recommend doing Build in Public first and then Deploy in Public. But ultimately you know what is best for you!

i believe the * operator is allowing for the pointer to be “dereference”. this is because a pointer is a reference to a place in memory where the value of the variable is stored. by dereferencing we get the actual value at that memory address

Thank you!!
@corriestroup62225 ай бұрын
I don't use Go, but I know tons of people who have shifted over into Go and pointers are always something brought up but I kind of push it out of my mind (not super applicable to me at the moment.) However, after watching your video, watching you reason things out, and reasoning things out myself, I feel like I have a much better grasp of pointers as a concept. It's not something I picked up during my self-taught days, but it is a concept that popped up in my uni classes, so it's cool to see it in the wild like this and see how it can fit into a functioning language (instead of just reading about it in a book!) Great video!
