Tragedy that NBC won't either sell the rights or use them and bring the show back. I used to have faith they were waiting for the right time in the market but the market is ready now (GoT, etc) and they are doing nothing. No reboot talk, no rumors. I think at this point NBC is burying the rights because they've lost their nerve for anything but mainstream and don't want to make any content as bold as XWP was. They could prove us all wrong, but I don't think they have the balls to make a show like Xena.

It's so much fun to go back and reminence XWP with convantion videos like this <3 I can't explain in words what this show and the characters meant to me :3 It's simply FANTASTIC it's STILL so well known, truely amazing <3 Fun questions! On the way XWP would be portrayed in modern times in terms of their relationship. I am for 100% on the 'side' of them being lovers too but that is just one layer/aspect of their relationship, not the most important), I would like to see in these times that they kept the ambiguity untill like halfway through the show/untill the last season and then confirm on screen. Not in the beginning already because then indeed, like Renee said, the message could be perceived 'wrong' as just entertainment or sex appeal and the fundemental bond would be lacking. That bond is what made their relationship work so amazingly well and deep and pure. SO I'd liek to keep it that way for the biggest part of the show :3 That edible story, poor Lucy xD And R.I.P. Kevin Smith, you're still very much missed :( 'Oh my God that was so deep, I'm exhausted' x'D Great and serious answer on that more personal question towards the end. It did make sense what Lucy said about the work culture around tv series vs movies and good addition of Renee about how it in XWP was going from ROb and Lucy towards teh rest and that you just do you job, have a great time and are part of the family. I am very glad neither of them encountered anything like that while working on XWP. And that low-life of the paragliding dude, shame on you! >:(

Too bad the audio is so bad I can't understand what they are talking. Maybe a native English speaker can, but I miss too many words. But Lucy and Renee always were good to their fans. Xena was my fav series when I was a kid, and yeah I'm a man, these girls and the series have lots of us male fans too.
