I have the same Eazycap 284. When using it, I encountered a problem: when digitizing component video signal I got variable frame rate in PAL TV standard. When viewing it is not visible, but when editing video it leads to a violation of synchronization of sound with video. I suspect that the problem is that modern devices do not always handle interlace video correctly, it is easier for them to work with progressive video. I did not look for a solution to this problem and switched to a device from AverMedia, which fully provides all the stated characteristics in the resulting video.

This isn't an issue we've run into before with the Ezcap range specifically. We do know it can show its head in a various ways. Mostly issues end up being Time Base Correction related. For example, playing back a MiniDV tape in a MiniDV camera and recording that playback may result in audio drift, because most MiniDV cameras don't have Time Base Correction. However, running a MiniDV through a VHS Player then recording that can fix this as the VHS has a TBC in it.

How does build quality and reliability for livestreams compare to the ATEM mini?
@videoguysaustralia15 күн бұрын
The build quality is maybe a touch cheaper than the ATEM, but is quite good. The buttons feel very similar to that of the ATEM. We have also had no reliability issues reported by any of our customers, nor did we see any in our testing.

can you plug a USB-C hub into the Hohem and get power to the phone as well as other devices? Or plug a hub into the phone and connect the Hohem to the phone through the hub? The USB port is nice but I need a few places to plug in hard drive and audio interface.

You will be able to plug the charging cable from the gimbal into the phone through a hub, provided the hub supports power passthrough. Plugging a USB-C hub into the gimbal directly will not let you use the hard drive or audio interface.

Hey All Great Video Mate, short & concise I just received mine today from AMAZON Australia Question: I didn't receive the Australian type Pin Clip-On thingy for the 12v Adaptor so I can plug it into our Electrical wall sockets ...but I got the EU & UK ones instead, has anyone else had this problem ? and if you did, what did you do as I really don't want to send it back & go through the rigmarole of re-ordering over such a small item ?? Thank You All In Advance
@videoguysaustralia2 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Most of our early units came with the Australian plug missing. We stock them as spare parts in case we run into the issue again. Any 12V 1.5A DC power supply should work for you. Ideally you will want the locking collar on the barrel though, because the barrel can pop out without it and you'll likely lose power.

Nice coverage. I really like the M.2 handle. Even though I think the next gen of DSLR's will have internal M.2 slots or SSD's, that handle is one of the least obtrusive ways for run-and-gun high-bitrate recording. And someone needed to compete with the Blue Condor handle. Did you see any others there?

I have been a customer of Videoguys for sometime, good to see you are recommending gear you have tested. I have 3 EZCap devices and it appears none are now working . As with a professional video Business I have converted in the region of several hundred VHS recordings to either DVDs or hdds , the former via the 3 NEC, JVC, or Panasonic recorders, each of which do not have facilities for USB or SD card or external hdd outputs, this now being a nuisance in having to utilise computers. It would appear from your KZbin presentation that you have the product I need. Would you please comment and advise if I can order the more suitable unit (forgotten the model.)
