Thank you for a clear video. I would recommend loosening bolts etc before jacking up, rather than after.

Thank you for showing how to remove the front fender piece (it is nowhere to be found in the Haynes manual!). ButI would suggest that, at least before you loosen the axle, you don't lift the wheel entirely off the ground. It takes some considerable torque to loosen it, and it might either destabilize the bike or turn the wheel. It can be lifted further late. Also, I have found that I can pull the front tire out without taking off the calipers, and can replace the wheel after levering the brake pads to depress the brake cylinder a bit.

@@Modelta 225hp is not a lot of power for a 3285 lb car. When it was built is was made for daily commuting. They made the ZHP package that had sports suspension and was built for the track, this isn’t the ZHP. I know because I own one. People abuse the crap out of their E46s when most of them simply aren’t made for that, and that’s why you see so many of them sitting in driveways covered in dust for years. It’s just sad to me because I really love these cars

good review I bought the 2007 model (no cruise control) the ABS is know to fail on these and mine was faulty . get your garage to repair(costly and it will fail again) or do as I have done and get them to disable it from the dash board - or by pass if they are good. overall I really nice powerful fast bike I love it. Globally the RT1200 are used are very cheap and you get a lot of bike for the money. because the ABS fails often plenty of secondhand one for pennies

What an amazing bike! Had a used 1150 Rt that I put about 80,000 miles on, mostly two up. Bought a used 1200 rt. I use the analogy of switching from regular snow skis to shaped skies. You think turn and it does it for you!
