I live in a 55+ "ACTIVE" complex in Sugar Land Texas. Not many "ACTIVES" here. These places are the minor leagues for the stepping stones for assisted living, and most here are on walkers and motochairs. They're here because half the price for assisted living. Markerters should be building 45+ to max 70 complexes. Most here are 75 and up. I am 63 and one of the youngest here.

Should check out Frostproof Florida in south Polk County sometime,it has a charming downtown surrounded by 2 beautiful large lakes,a little off the beaten path but could be a more affordable alternative in Florida and Polk County.

You would need to research custom builders. If you have your own land, you will need a custom builder to build your home
