Im going to attempt to build this on saturday. Just one question once you install the piece of wood on the wall then put the floating tv stand on it do youdrill onto the piece that is attatched to the stand ?
@beavisnowell723414 күн бұрын
Also what size thickness was the wood you used?
@StarterBuilds14 күн бұрын
@@beavisnowell7234 essentially you will create a french cleat for the piece that is installed into the studs on the wall and the back piece that sits within the cabinet. You then will attach the cleats together with wood screws to the studs. Id recommended checking out a few videos on making french cleats.

Nice looking box. How does the water drain out of the bottom of the box? How long do you think those bottom boards will last from constant watering? Do you line the box along the sides with a plastic liner?
@StarterBuilds2 ай бұрын
Not shown in the video but I essentially drilled holes in the bottom for drainage on each board. Plastic liner is recommended. Mine have been holding up for a year now with no issues due to weather.

Why did you bother making this video? It is so bloody irritating. The musak is torture and I hate speeded up builds. Did you say at the start that you were going to show us how to build this or just show off? FFS don’t post anymore videos until you’ve completed a video filming and editing course.
