I am picky and I am an author, though not of horror tales.....The narration is top quality and the stories are NOT your run of the mill tales--they are very original and often surprising..... Anyone who likes this story might be interested in the slightly longer story “Monster” by Dave Zeltserman. It’s the monster’s side of the Frankenstein story. I didn’t have quite enough memory of Frankenstein (the book) to tell how accurate the parallel was, but it seemed pretty close from what I did remember. The monster doing good deeds for those who helped it was also a part of that story-although I’m making no accusations of plagiarism.

Jesus wept on a cupcake. I looked up the Laughing Man at Blackpool and… yeah. Smh. Wonderfully told, btw. Hope this wasn’t an AI of another narrator’s voice, it’s almost too perfect. Your telling though is beyond anything an AI could possibly conceive or convey. Really enjoyable and hits the creep chord in perfect discordance. Like a laugh track from an insane asylum at the turn of the century. Subbed and rang the notification bell 🔔 Cannot wait to hear more. It’s unbelievable that you’re unknown so far. I feel I’ve found a Fabergé egg in an old bird’s nest the forest or, a well crafted and perfectly preserved ancient automaton in a pristine glass box in the grotesquely charred cheerfulness of a burnt out amusement park.
