Idem, près de 50a que je baigne dans cette ambiance, Rock Hard Rock & Metal : bercé par les Beatles & Stones puis très vite Led Zep Deff Sabbath Raimbow Dio, en passant par ACDC puis MAIDEN (tilt ! :-) ..), Helloween au Big for ... Oui à l'alternatif DeathCore HardCore Metalcore Etc ... Bref, liste non exhaustive ! AVATAR catalogué certes heavy mais aussi plus mélodique & groove même = intrigué, car j'en écoutais & en postais sur sites. Certes pas aussi assidu que toi, mais bien intrigué oui j'y suis allé > Nous avons même conversé ensembles durant les près de 2h d'attente (tous 2 prioritaires, chacun(e) son motif... I'm sorry. I love this band unconditionally, but LaBrie is, hear me out, washed up. DT needs to get an Arnel Pineda (Journey) in there. James can record amazing vocals, but live, he sounds like a drunk guy at a karaoke bar.

Well, these lyrics are who they aimed at when they wrote them, then. Sorry, but you can't like Dream Theater and not like LaBrie. He's perfect for Dream Theater. These musicians are so damn perfect that they don't need a pretentious vocalist stealing the spotlight. He's just there to add some human sound to the amazing sound these guys produce. I love his melodic and dramatic voice in contrast to their instruments. Also, this recording is sh!t. I've heard them live twice in the last 4 years and LaBrie sounded amazing!
