He's right about the rot that hides deep in the corners, but the other option is to pull the skins off and then you can see where the rot is. It's also easier to cut and measure pieces to replace and you can get to the rot deep at the bottom of the walls. If the rot is bad and you gut your trailer, it can fall on you. It's happened.

I had a mechanic replace my c.V.Axle and when he was finished he told me it's normal for transmission fluid to come out when removing it but he said a little bit more than usual came out. Should I be concerned?

Great video. Im doing my 04 xc90 2.9 this afternoon. I haven't been in there yet but ordered parts. I have the thermostat, aluminum nipple, and a thermostat housing gasket. My question is should there not be 2 gaskets, one between the housing and engine and the other between the housing and cover. Im not sure which I have, its called the thermostat housing gasket 9142697. Which is this one? I obviously will need another and I don't want to take it apart until I have both but this is all that comes up when I search for the gasket and by the looks of all the videos Ive watched, they are both different (the housing to engine and housing to cover gaskets)

I have both those lights come on and my speedometer was going crazy I cleaned those off do you and now the speed barley moves when I start it but I can’t remember if it always did that but the traction light and abs light is still on do you think if I drive it it’ll go away

No, mine was purely electrical. If it’s going to the floor and the brake light is on, that would mean that there is a leak in the system.

How full was your fuel tank at the moment when you opened it up?

I do not recall. If I remember correctly, the tank can be mostly full, but I don’t remember exactly where the top of the tank is in relation to the top of the fuel pump and the sending unit.

It might. The cover on the eight pillar is probably going to be different than mine. Look up how to remove the a pillar cover and that will reveal the hose coming from the sunroof. Then you can kind of eyeball it and see if they’re similar. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

I recently change all 4 wheel bearing for my rwd car. However, the rear sensors had to be replaced due to being seized to my wheel bearing. Everything works when put back. However, my car is triggering the Trac control and brakea when my car is in reverse mode and the steering wheel is turned all the way to the left or right. Do you know what it might be? Bad sensor in the rear or the front wheel hub? there is no light on dash and all wheel sensor seems to be reading ok.

Since he replaced the rears, I would assume it’s probably something in the front. If one of the front ones has some stuff stuck to it then that would be throwing it off. I would pull those out, Make sure they’re clean and then see if it still happens.

Not bad for your first trailer. Now you can pull all the windows and put in the flashing. (You can get the supplies and advice from any window installation company.) Those Jalouse windows WILL leak like a sieve and all the water will run down into your walls and rot our all your new wood. While you're at it, pull all the emblems and get them re- plated.

I had actually replaced the seals in the jalouse windows because I couldn’t afford to replace any windows at that point. Unfortunately, I sold it about a year and a half ago. A little after it was finished.

I didn’t have to raise the engine. There should be enough room to maneuver the old ones out and get the new ones in. If I recall correctly, there was plenty of space.

If it’s not the sensors, it might be the yaw rate sensor. If there’s an O’Reillys or any other parts store near you, go in there and they can connect their code scanner to see if there’s a stored fault code. I hope you can get it fixed.
