Il est magnifique votre sarc. Quelles les dimensions du patron ? Merci

Something to consider, which would be hard to test in a short KZbin video, is how long will they last. I have an amazing pair of nice sharp fabric scissors that were my great Aunt Helen's. At over six feet tall she had to sew most of her own clothes, so they got a lot of use. They are antiques. They are still sharp and cut fabric well. They are Wiss brand. I don't know if they still make them as well, but this old pair beats my Fiskars travel scissors hands down.

I am considering this Juki machine mainly to make quilting easier. I currently have a Janome Memory Craft 6500. I bought it specifically because I does had a larger throat (9 inches wide x 5 inches high). Would the Juki’s one inch more height make a big difference compared to what I currently have? I don’t have room for a long arm set up so trying to find a good table machine with the biggest throat possible.

I got a lot out of your round up of PHDs (projects half done) last year! I tuned in when you were working on them later and was cheerleading from the sidelines ❤ It might be time to start a tradition of "Finish it February" 😂 where you complete some from the previous year and some from years past. Thank you for all of the free and wonderful content ❤

I got it at one of my local quilts shops. The wooden spool in Sealy Texas.

We own the busiest estate sale business in Montana, we sell full estates from the food in the cupboard to the vehicles, tractors, EVERYTHING in an estate. Estate sales are one of the best places to buy fabric, machines & notions - notions you'll never see anywhere else (I just might have a very large collection of obsolete quilting rulers). So many people buy more fabric than they could ever use in a lifetime and it's not something that most people come to sales to buy so it goes at very low prices. All sorts of fabric too, not just quilting! Check your area for estate sale companies, it's a fun way to shop and you never know what you'll find - it's also the best place to get really amazing vintage fabric & crazy notions.

I loved them all!! I immediately went to see the fat quarter race. Someone asked if you had done the math for other sizes? I do a lot of baby quilts for charity and want to try this...the group likes 36-38 inches
@msdixie12 күн бұрын
Thanks for the wonderful inspiration. If I want a bigger quilt, do I just start out with twice as many fat quarters?
@sewbeitquilts2 күн бұрын
Yes, you could double to fabric by adding in more fat quarters or you could also use 1/2 yard cuts of fabric.

I feel under accomplished. (Not really... I did as much as I could do with my time and commitments) i finished 5. But I worked on my Wips and only started 2. But I am working on Wips all year. Until I finish at least 5 tops using my long arm and finish 5 wips i cant start anything. I will be finished one top piecing today. Most of my quilts are queen size. I feel happy with what i have done. This is not my job but my joy.
@sewbeitquilts3 күн бұрын
Larger quilts take so much more time to complete. A lot of mine were small wall hangings or lap size. Sometimes we do just have to look at what we DID complete and finish. I could look at all my unfinished projects or tops that need to be quilted and still feel unaccomplished. It is all about perspective.
