I remember Sybil, a gracious and talented artiste. The Producers Hotel on ... Grenfel Streeet, I think ... I discovered Sybil at the keyboard. I knew her well for a time and she lived at this home when I knew her but alone with her pets. I'm glad I discovered this page as it's wonderful to hear her voice once more

Just a fantastic song that I remember from my high school years. Every now and then I search it down here and play it over and over! I did not realise until now Wendy had passed after a battle with cancer. RIP Wendy.

This is how I remember Bob. With the very rigid wig that looked like it was made of bare fibreglass and the safari suits. I saw Bob tonight on a tribute show for Paul O Grady and like a lot of us, he looks so different now he's got old. 😁

@bobdowne4real gosh, what a combination. Fabulous thank you. You should come back on British TV again and do your act. You would be more entertaining then many of the modern comedians we have now. 🙂❤

I think Barrymore was enjoying that way too much. 😂
@bobdowne4real5 ай бұрын
You know what? HE LOVED EVERY MINUTE. Right from the moment I met him, he told me he loved Bob and said "Just do anything you want, I'll play along." Which is exactly what happened. Nothing more freeing or delightful for a comedian to be given that opportunity - and it only ever happens when the star is ALSO a first rate comedian, which Barrymore was at that time.

Loved watching you together on TV, some of the funniest (especially the ad-libbed un-scripted moments) of comedy I've ever seen... Did you keep in touch with Paul after Lily went into the Nunnery?

Barrymore was a friend of the head master of my school and he was invited to the school with Rolf Harris as a treat for the kids. He sang “I scream, you scream we all scream for anus” in the ensuing chaos eight sixth formers were felt up (Harris) The old dinner lady was slapped up the tits (Barrymore) a child suffered a bloody nose (me)
