Quite correct a job like that requires cleats on the inside to prevent the "repair" from opening up.

интересно, новые лады у тебя там за что держаться будут? если при выдвигании в бок лад зубами на ноге выламывает в сторону материал, ты не думаешь, что дальше новые лады будут просто висеть в пустоте? ах да, клей решит все проблемы

Martin are rapidly becoming the gibson les paul of the acoustic guitar world. They really are that good although you can get a good one. I've play a couple and they were deeply average. The fact that this one has cracked along the grain, so not impact damage, speaks volumes. Read the comments with everyone just making out Martins are some kind of holy grail. The more this happens,as with les Paul's, the worse they're gonna get. Simple economics as they start to make lesser models and charge more.
