Maaaan. Yesterday I saw a offer for $11 to go to some hotdog place and the customer lived 50 minutes away!

Uber eats terminated me for not taking some deliveries. They give you the option to take a specific order or you don't have to accept it so they told me being that I declined to accept some orders they blocked and deactivated my account. I have a wife and small children.😢

It does make sense since you have to analyze if you are wasting more gas than what you are going to be compensated. I accept all orders cheap ones, good ones all since I have to drive to the city (20 min) to get orders and I live in area where Uber eats is not available. I only connect to Uber eats driver when I go to the gym, have to go the store to the bigger city. I use it like a side hustle.

Uber is cheap. Once i got an order with good tips it was around 14$ and just a couple of blocks away .. when i arrived at the resto they tried to add me another order that was from same restaurant but delivery is 25km away and for just 2 extra dollars .. i rejected

No. Because you are going to someone's house in the middle of nowhere and unless you have an actual map in your glove box, you need your phone to drive you back home. Also AND PROBABLU MOST IMPORTANT without a phone you can't accept more deliveries after this one, so the actual miles for this order are double, because the trip back also counts.

18 miles shouldn’t take 1:44. Unless there’s hella traffic to and from…. I would take it. I had a $41 order for 15 miles yesterday, I hopped on that!!! It only took me 30 minutes to complete in LA traffic.

Yeah, but the problem is you're not being paid to drive from your current location to the order location, which could be 20 minutes away. Too much time, money, and gas is waisted, just driving to the location. That's unpaid time, too. So, I hope you all remember to factor that in your formula too. The reality is. These jobs don't pay shit anymore.

idk it's lucky for me or not but I've never met the order with above 15 mi with below $10. Even the order i received never got more than 15 mi.

When I was broke and unemployed for a few months during the middle of my college fall semester, I tried Uber eats delivery and accepted every order. I didn’t really care how much they paid. I just wanted to scrape up whatever I could make. It honestly wasn’t that bad for me. I live in NYC so I always had orders. Honestly it was a nice gig. I just listened to music in my car while doing the deliveries. I used my dad’s Honda odyssey so gas wasn’t an issue. Those minivans are so great with gas.

You will basically never see $2.00/mile in my marketplace. You would make $0 sitting around.

I only do Uber abt to start UE...its a "NO" Im in Hou. Tex everything is spread out here, a 45 min trip to airport is for in the high $20's 1hr & 44 min you are almost to Austin, Tx if U gi West, almost in Louisiana if U go East.... I went to Baton Rouge Louisiana which is 3 1/2hrs I made $236+ $100 tip....Naw UE aint looking too goo if this is the shenanigans they trying to pull off
