Hi. How tall are you in cm? Don't you think the bike frame is too small? If you could turn back time, would you choose a size L frame? I'm going to buy myself a frame like this, but for several weeks now I can't decide whether to get M or L.... my height is 183cm
@Darklinemtb3 ай бұрын
@@JackieChanJoi I think size medium is good. I never bought a large Frame in my life. I’m 180cm
@JackieChanJoi4 ай бұрын
Hi. How tall are you and what size bike do you have? I want a Thunderbird FR too but I can't decide, visually they seem to have very short frames, maybe I should get a Thunderbird Superenduro but put 27.5 wheels on it.
@Darklinemtb4 ай бұрын
5’11” tall we’ve been riding the medium. It is a short frame not very long and steeper less slack angles. If you’re big on jumps then it’s great but for downhill stuff gets a bit harder to ride.
@JackieChanJoi4 ай бұрын
@@Darklinemtb Got it, thanks, good info and did I understand correctly that you have a frame size M medium and your height is 180cm? Too bad you indicated the height in your "special" American scale, oh these damn inches, pounds, miles, how they complicate everything.... Had to convert to human measurements in CM. I am 183 cm, so I will just take the L frame Thunderbird FR and hope that I will compensate and will be comfortable enough for Enduro and Trail.
@Darklinemtb4 ай бұрын
@@JackieChanJoi haha yeh we gotta be different hear in the USA. Definitely try a large and yes superenduro would be better for trail riding.

@@Darklinemtb Tell me, what is your weight in kg? Have you ridden this bike a lot? People say that the center spring tends to wobble and that the spring needs to be replaced with a stiffer one.
@Darklinemtb4 ай бұрын
@@JackieChanJoi yes we’ve ridden this bike for a long time now. It comes with a 350 spring which is way too soft for 87kg (190 lbs). I never had the “spring wobble” though.
