How exactly do you wire the pickup to the push-push pot? I bought a pot and soldering iron but I've never done anything like this before lol!!! The video was sped up at the point where you were doing the install so I wasn't quite able to understand. Anyone know?

Which part of the bridge plate are you running parallel to the body? The base of the plate, or the diagonal top plate?

Hey all! I'm worried about screws coming through the pickup area when I mount it. Any thoughts on this? Scares me to death- I have a custom guitar.

That's one of two videos that I find to be an amazing tutorial for the floating bridge stuff. Unfortunately I am drummer with only great guitar setup skills. 🙂 But my playing is limited to a few power chords. Until now... There is another video, where the guy does the setup the other way around. He _releases_ the claw and blocks the bridge from the other side of the trem block, in the leveled postion, of course. Tunes it, and then just tightens up the screws again until the spacer between body and trem block falls out. Baaaam, right in tune again! This tutorial here is a bit sexier, because you don't have to screw up your claw positions before beeing ready with the tuning. Adding an extra spring is quick and easy.

Excellent video. You sold me, I'm getting one for my Les Paul. A cool video idea would be to have a tone shootout of the standard LP bridge vs the Bigsby. I've seen one such video, and the difference was substantial. The Bigsby sounds more open, with more mid-range punch.

Didn't any of you guys lose trem travel from the bigger block? Won't the block hit the inside of the cavity, limiting your range of dive/pull? I realize this will be brand/ model specific, and that some don't care about the trem travel length. But i know for certain styles of playing, this is really important.

I've been playing with floyds for 12 years, and never, ever I saw this A tick anywhere. Dude is a freaking genius. I was seeking some information about using just 2 springs instead 3. And now I MUST try this technique hahahahaah

Serious question: when doing the A-string trick, you show adjusting the right side claw screw to bring the A from sharp to in tune. What about the left claw screw? Shouldn’t both be adjusted in equal increments so that the claw doesn’t sit at an angle? Or does that not matter?

I am very interested in buying this block, could you make the block for this bridge an option without the arm socket bridge so that it is possible to upgrade to a better one without plastic sleeve and screw that holds the arm.

I found Fu-Tone about a month ago. I have an Ibanez RG470 that I bought in late 93 or 94. I think the springs have finally given out because they pop out of place when I use my whammy bar. I also want to customize it with different colors nut lock screws and change out parts of the low trem to give it a different look.
