Tony, this is great! I loved the use of "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy." The use of "God Bless the USA" (in my opinion, the other national anthem) was the icing on the cake! Great job! (Lauren Kelley)

Vinny was obviously a Very Good Boy, My Golden was "Willie". I cannot bring myself to watch my many videos of him yet & I don't know why I watched yours. But, I really thank you for sharing it and I hope 1 day I can find the strength to share Willie with the world the way you did with Vinny.

What a beautiful dog.it's clear he was loved and bought joy and laughter to your life..I just lost my best mate Buddy who I had for16 years so hard to let go but the happy times will always overcome the grief of losing a good friend that he was.always there with unconditional love..Buddy 6/2/01-1/12/17.

You could pass for Mankind/Cactus Jack's brother, but I like the Hollywood Hogan resemblance too. Definitely have to say the clothes make the "Macho Man" with the Randy Savage costume though. Great stuff!

I enjoyed watching your tribute video. Vinny was so handsome! You obviously gave him a tremendous amount of love and I think that is why he lived to 14! 14 is really unheard of for goldens! I liked how Vinny was able to get you the newspaper...cute! As Vinny got older he still seemed to be very energetic. So did my sweet Lizzie. Sadly she had a tumor in her nasal passage of all crazy places. It made her very uncomfortable as it grew and surgery was not an option. It was hard to say goodbye but I focus on the 11.5 great years that she has on earth and for all of the joy she gave me. I'm not ready for another dog but as you can see on my channel, I foster kittens on occasion. Thanks for commenting on my photo.

Thank you for your kind words. Every day with Vinny was a gift and I was truly blessed as you were with Lizzie. Saying Good Bye to Vinny was unbearable. I am not ready for another dog. It took me nearly 6 years to get Vinny after my childhood golden Adam passed away. We will babysit our friend's golden and it is nice to have her visit but I am just not ready yet.

Great video and memories! I just lost my 14 year old Golden 3 weeks ago so I know how bad it hurts...it's killing me. I did everything with Bud, my best friend. Please look at my channel where I have many videos of his life. It helps knowing others see him and understand how I feel.

+Good Day My heartfelt condolences for your loss as well. It is a horrible empty feeling. It's been 100 days since I lost Vinny and I still feel it. But I was blessed to have had him for 14 years. I just got a tribute tattoo for him and my childhood golden Adam done yesterday. 9 hours and yes it hurt. But compared to losing them, it was nothing.

+Good Day God Bless and good luck with your new dog! It took me over 5 years to replace my childhood golden Adam. It was God's way of making sure i was ready and he blessed me with Vinny. I just got a tribute tattoo done on Monday for Vinny and Adam.

As a Vietnam Vet, the use of Taps was in no way disrespectful in my opinion. What a moving tribute! I became so emotional that I went and hugged my dog...and gave him an extra biscuit. Thanks for sharing.
