Interesting lure with the single hook and not the treble hook. You all were hot on em for sure. Fun watch.
@FishingKitАй бұрын
Hook up ratio isn't too bad with the single hooks but definitely not as good as trebles but less likely to get a hook in the finger 😬

Loving the videos!!! I was wondering if you still store your boat outside? And if so, how is it weathering? I really want to get a boat similar to yours but just not sure about leaving it outside.
@FishingKitАй бұрын
Thanks Ben. Once it comes out from storage it stays outside. There is some rust showing up on the trailer but the boat is in good shape still as far as weathering. I try to put the cover back on if I know it's gonna rain but for the most part I leave the cover off. There may have been a few times where the rain catches me off guard and it's too rainy for me put the cover up. You should just get it!

The best boat I've ever own was a Fisher Marine with a Johnson 20 hp tiller, a 60/120 flasher, 12/24 Sea Horse foot comtroled trolling motor! I fished it from the East Coast, Chesapeake Bay and its River Systems, to the North, Canada on the Mighty Ottawa River, Rideau Canal onto the Texas Gulf Coast and everything in between! Should've never sold it! Tiller Boats are the most versatile boat you can buy!
@FishingKit3 ай бұрын
Wow sounds like you really put that thing to use!

Exactly! No freaking carpets! All the boats where i live has carpet and hardly no one wants them because want we fish and want to have an easy wash down and not deal with nasty slimy carpets/damaged carpets from treble hooks

@@FishingKit appreciate you getting back to me. After coming across this video and seeing you chase the same fish I do. I subscribed and stalked your channel to find your boat😂. Love the content and I'm working towards a similar boat set up. I fish from a decked out yak in the state to the west of you. I was just in Iowa a few weekends ago and did horrible. I was fishing 3mile lake and didn't know that they were renovating it. Water was low and it looked like there was a algae bloom plus a ton of yellow bass. Hopefully next time I come to Iowa I have better luck.

Would these wipers hit minnows if one can't get shad?
@FishingKit4 ай бұрын
They would definitely hit minnows but it would be hard to keep the small fish away long enough for a big one to hit it but there's always a chance, and if you're on a school of nice ones then it might not be an issue 😁
