having sphere of influence change in future would be way better, as we still need to experiment with the transfer window to other planets and try out the burn angle

I’ve had issues like this before you just need to separate the docking ports ever so slightly after the initial release

You can do this by turning on the motor quickly or by activating it before you release the docking port

its pretty easy to get the transfer window for mars in the game, although you have to eyeball it, I landed voth on Venus and mars
