The elevator should not be running with a door gap that wide. This is why I've always considered these interlocks/gate switches very flawed...

I miss these things. I loved the lanterns, the full glass design and the motor. Now some stupid kone MRL takes over. I wish there could have been some kind of way to keep the structure of these things

Update for all the Schindler fans & viewers | this Schindler elevator at dicks sporting goods in roosevelt fields mall has been changed from an old typical submersible motor to now a dry-powered motor! James (Ih8escalators) has just been there & had a very rare discovery with the elevator! This elevator just got a new motor!!
