Wow I've sought this song in Karaoke, but it's not available. I love this song, mostly for memories sake. Gosh I wish someone with Karaoke creating knowledge would make a Karaoke version as I love Karaoke to reminisce.

I'm going to be 57 in a few months and the one thing I can share with the young today is that they don't make music like this anymore and it's a shame. What Gen Z (and Gen Alpha) listen to isn't real, it's created with software on a PC, you don't even need instruments. It's not music. It's hollow, it's empty, it's meaningless, and devoid of a soul. And so, the grunge apocalyse hit and melodic music like this were not allowed to co-exist and now we dont even have a music industry. Thanks for posting. Geat tune

Hey is that The Electric Prunes, or The Strawberry Alarm clock. Damn this tune is so awesome. Move over REM, Move over English Beat. Just Kidding, but these guys are up there.

O.K. so I woke up today hearing the chorus to this song. I was vaguely remembering the video. I have literally not heard this or have not seen the video since 1982 or 83. Great song. Amazing chords. Awesome. I also had no recollection of who did this. I was thinking a band like English Beat or one of those.

Compared to "You're Everywhere that I'm Not" this song got hardly any airplay so I don't remember it. But I like the end of the vid where his girl drives up to the men of the cloth and shows them his pic and, as the liars they are, they shake their head with a "nope". And this was when I was Christian!!

This took me back to 1983, the first time I heard it over the radio and the second time I saw a different video version from this at the local University tavern. Thank you! 😊
