I've had the implant 2 different times- the first time, I bled for a couple of months, then my periods stopped altogether. Second time around, I get my period regularly, and havent had any issues with it. The 3rd year the first time having the implant I was bleeding almost constantly. My primary care provider told me to help with the constant bleeding/spotting, take ibuprofen. The amount you had to take seemed like a lot over the course of 2 weeks, but it worked. If you are having these issues, talk to your healthcare provider about it. I like the implant. I've tried depo, pills and the implant. Haven't tried any other forms of birth control because I like the implant.

I just had my IUD removed today. Practitioner was like “Have you ever felt your IUD strings?” I said “No.” she said “Okay because I can’t see them at all.” It took FOUR highly uncomfortable attempts with 3 different tools to get it out. She had to use a hook and basically blindly dig around for it. It was not pleasant. It was painful and kinda took my breath away a little bit but it wasn’t unbearable. I’m thankful I didn’t have to have an alternate procedure. She did bring that up, but she eventually got it out. She kept asking my permission to try again and the 4th try, she was like “This is the last attempt I’m going to make.” But she got it thank God. P.S. Make sure they show you your IUD so you know it’s completely intact and out and nothing was left inside.

Interesting to see 3 is a myth. My mom always said the doctors told her I had to be a C-section because my brother was and there was a chance her stomach stitches could burst open if she tried to have me naturally. Edit: Did some of my own research and concluded that vaginal birth after a C-section is not impossible, but can come with some risk factors depending on the circumstances surrounding your C-section (for example, whether the cut was horizontal or vertical), and how many you’ve had. Also seems not all hospitals offer it as an option.
@SpicedTeac22 сағат бұрын
Vbac is an option for women who qualify but still some doctors will try to deny them the option. I kept looking until I found one who supported my choices and it worked out well. Some just want to make money on our bodies since csections also pay them more to perform. It's awful how much coercion is in women's healthcare.
@Rosiee.0018 сағат бұрын
@SpicedTeac That's unfortunate, where in the world do you live? I guessed it was more of a "convenience" since some doctors couldn't get arsed to do a follow up, because it can come way with more uncertain risk than just doing a 2nd c-section.

In Greece in private hospitals at least from my experience, if you don’t shave they shave you there. And before delivery at the beginning of the process you’re having an enema just to empty everything

I had no choice in my second pregnancy. Matthew was breach and then during the c ,the cord was rapped are his neck twice. He wouldn’t have made it and maybe me too. My Dr. Was the best. Matthew is 42 now,a radiologist and has done 2 tours in Iraq. Always do an Ultrasound if possible before a delivery.

Hilarity 💅.In today’s age ,it is not possible to have children and bring them up in a-good environment and we have mindset that no matter what food we take,it may be poisoned.Moreover the hospital expense’s more rather not tolerate in our budget.So enjoying life fruitfully without children’s life may be good 🙏🇮🇳

So do you think that the child you have, that you love so much and would do anything to protect and care for, only has value because you decided it does? Because you chose to go on with pregnancy? And if you chose to rip that baby apart or kill it whilst inside of you, it would've been fine because it's a part of your so-called reproductive rights? FOR EVERYONE WHO THINKS THIS WAY, THIS MESSAGE IS FOR THEM. Some people just hate babies, have no conscience at all, are completely and utterly selfish and don't have any interest or affection towards kids which is horribly sad but also their stance at least makes sense because they're just cruel on another level and that's their whole character so it makes sense if they would be the ones fighting for the right to kill unborn humans. 😂 But for people like you, who actually do want and like kids, show affection towards them, fight for their rights when they're born and seem to have somewhat of a conscience when dealing with humans outside the womb, how do you support life and death, love and hate, rights and entitlement, rights and negligence all at once? 😂 It's honestly so hypocritical and I can't understand it! You really think that YOUR child is completely at your disposal if you don't want it? That the very same child you so very much love and cherish WHEN YOU WANT IT isn't deserving of it WHEN YOU DON'T? That its value is somehow reduced to nothing but a choice to choose between keeping or disposing of? Why is your choice so valuable to you that it dictates whether or not human life should survive and thrive or be ripped of it's chance at life and thrown away like trash? You don't get to choose if human life is worthy of being saved and valued or thrown away like trash after being ripped apart mercilessly. Yes, that child is inside of you because you, just like that child are a HUMAN being and you were (hopefully) valued by your mother and allowed to be given this chance at life! You are a HUMAN and it's obvious that YOU will be the means for continuing our species and reproducing! That, however, doesn't mean you get the right to kill growing life just because it happens to be inside of YOU! You get to have the right to reproduce or not, yes, sure! But that right ends when you allowdd yourself to start the process of reproduction! Once that baby starts growing, it's the beginning of life and they deserve the chance at it! Unless you were raped, forced or somehow made pregnant without your consent or you or your babies lives or health are seriously threatened at at risk, you can't simply choose to take a pill or rip your baby apart and end it's chance at life! How human beings, especially women, who are more emotional BY NATURE for the very purpose of being better equipped to grow and raise tiny humans, who carry these little growing human lives inside of them, their own flesh, can even think of getting rid of their own child's life, in such a cruel way. JUST. HOW.

It’s insurance that won’t cover it. In TN at least it’s that way. It has to be either medically necessary, you’ve had 2 kids or you’re 35 or older for insurance to cover

Always check with your doctor on this. My OBGYN said no when I asked about an abdominal binder. Her reasoning was she wanted to avoid adding additional pressure to the abdominal area because she wanted to protect the internal deep incision she would be making.
