Excellent material and excellent speaker. Her and her mom are heros for bringing the devastating story of their earlier years to the forefront. Let this be a lesson to you young girls out there looking to marry someone from another country.

Mahtob looks like her mother, I remember this story, this movie...I was riveted, and so were my preteen children, especially my 13 yr old son..Betty, and Mahtob, you have been through a great trial, and have grown strong from it, I wish you nothing but true success, you are both so inspirational!!

You are such a brave woman and hero. You are such a wonderful mother, that you never leave your daughter in Iran. You are a true heroin for your daughter. The mother's instinct don't leave her kid/s in danger.

R Corn She didn't want Mahtob to grow up in that environment-where she would have zero rights. It was a great book, and you could even see earlier stuff where she had to force Moody to do things when he was suffering thru a depression. I use that to not end up like him-a lazy bum.

Glad to see Mahtob has made a good life for herself back home. Had her mother not gotten them out of Iran when she did, Mahtob would have had a very different life.

I was sure that the best statement about the Mahmoody-Case would come from the daughter someday .. And here it is.

So sorry for what she had to go through... Good for her!!! I would have done the same thing though I doubt I would have had the grace she had. Stand up for your rights.
