Thanks for your feedback. This video is well over ten years old and was posted a few years ago after being found again versus simply deleting it. The phones were all dead, and none of them worked. Sorry to disappoint you, as this was never meant to be a KZbin production. Have a nice day.

Horrible waste... Maybe, if you'd put some effort into the capturing of the destruction as opposed to directing/acting/cameraman all-in-one; aka effort. As it stands though, those phones could've been donated, used as security cameras, given to someone/something that would've done more than trash good (albeit outdated) phones and devices. =/

It's entirely possible the rails were installed unsquare and the slide is not deflecting.

True and that could have been part of it but what I didn't show in the video is by pushing down with just a little weight, you could easily see the deflection of the drawer box.

Not without your go-go gadget arms, but still easier than what the client had before which was a stationary shelf where nothing in the blind corner could be accessed. :)

People don't think about all the stuff you need to remove from the first shelf to get the stuff out from the back one. It looks good when empty but not practical loaded.
@SGRosinity
@SGRosinity 2 жыл бұрын
But still easier than what the client had before which was a stationary shelf where nothing in the blind corner could be accessed. The concept behind this is simple as we explain to our clients that it works best if items are not stacked to the fullest height on the front pull out. That way, you can either move a small amount of items to access the back shelf or none based upon what you store. The objective here is not for the back shelf to be one that is used everyday but instead a place to keep things that are only needed on occasion, such as seasonal items. :)
@austinhastings6709

You didn't open the drawers. Also, those upper pull-outs behind the pull-out doors could probaby use a vertical handle to help pull them out. Just a narrow triangle carried up from the front of the "drawer" body would do it.

This has to do with the porosity of the concrete. I have tried sealants on concrete that was very dense and the sealant would not adhere. A good test is to spill some water on the raw concrete. If the water does not absorb, then the concrete is not porous enough for the sealant to stick. The option to resolve this is to acid etch the concrete or use a grinder. Either way, you would have to open the pores in the concrete. The next question is, if the concrete is not porous, why spend the money and time using a sealant? I decided I should only use a sealant when the concrete is porous.

Sorry that didn't work out as you hoped! I can't vouch for the product itself. I'm guessing it was a water based product, not solvent based. Water based typically will leave the color the same whereas solvent based will darken it.

the build work is very nice The Practicality is ZERO. This appears to be the result of somebody trying to design the worst possible configuration possible. Heads UP, , , , , They do make Lazy Susans for the corner cabinet. O.M.G.

@SGRosinity

Lazy Susans are not ideal for blind corner cabinet opening where one must reach into the back to the left or right. Symetrical corner cabinets (Lazy Susan cabinets) are perfect for Lazy Susans, if you are okay with round solutions in square or rectangular spaces. For blind corners, the options are limited. And this is better than having items in the back that cannot be accessed at all without removing everything in front of it.

Maybe a removable cart would be better than the 2 "front" drawers. You could roll the cart completely out of the way before sliding the back drawers into reach 😁

You spend a great deal of time and trouble upgrading the cabinets but it doesn't look like you refinished the cabinet doors, so some of them are looking quite tired. Next project? You can use chemicals to remove the old finish and put a new finish to make them look much better, almost new.
