I have exactly the same Trek bike model (same colour too!) and I'm using it predominantly for fitness. I'm riding it for about two months now and I'm very satisfied how it handles, with smooth speed shifting and quite high built quality and mostly by great comfort. I usually ride for several days in week, something about 15-20 or sometimes more kilometers per ride, mostly in relatively flat areas. It is interesting that in Europe where I come from, this bike comes with another disc brakes, these from Tektro that are great! Overall, Trek FX 2 Disc with 2x9 Acera/Altus drivetrain is perfect for regular fitness, commuting but also joyrides through city. Greetings from Croatia, European Union.

In case of a dark ring, and in case Id need to use flash, does a regular speedlight work?
@AlbertArt
@AlbertArt 12 күн бұрын
Panasonic Lumix is compatible with flash - Godox and other brands. I have used it with Godox AD200. Yes you can use a regular speed light on top of the camera. Some cameras and flash do not do rapid flash if you are doing multiple shots. The flash needs to refresh. The most compatible speedlight for lumix is www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/924874-REG/panasonic_dmw_fl360l_wireless_external_flash_with.html it apparently can do rapid fire flash though I never tested it.

I've bought the same bike (2022. model) several weeks ago on discount at my local bike store for about 749 Euros (I'm from the EU) as the replacement for my well over 10 years old 3x7 Shumano Tourney drivetrain bike and I'm very satisfied with everything; 2x9 Shimano Altus/Acera drivetrain, smooth ride, very responsive Tektro brakes, how lightweight it actually is (about 11.7 kg) and for the most part by it's quite high comfort. I have only minor complaint about original Bontrager handles (different than those in video) that could be more comfortable with better shock absorbing considering this is bike without front suspension. But I'll probably change them with some better ones which isn't much of a hustle. I predominantly use it as my exercise bike that I usually ride mostly on paved roads (to some extent also light gravel) for several days per week (about 10-15 km, sometimes more per ride) to keep myself in good shape. And this bike is so far very good and fun to ride! Warm greetings from Croatia, European Union 👍

Two weeks ago I've bought mine FX 2 Disk 2022. model Trek too as the replacement of my aging, cheaper no name, well over ten years old bike with older Shimano 3x7 Tourney drivetrain. I've found it at my local bike store on discount for about 749 Euros (I'm from the EU country) after thorough research on which bike to choose from. And I have to say that I'm very impressed with this bike's buildt quality, how it handles on paved (mostly flat) roads and some light gravel paths, mostly also by it's comfort (handles could be somewhat better for a non-suspension bike), shifters, very responsive brakes and how light it actually is (only about 11.7 kg). And mine is also lythium grey. I use my bike for several days each week as a means of exercise just like you do since I also have mostly office job. I usually do something about 10-15 km per each ride or more if I'm in good shape and there's nice weather. It's a bit odd but here in Europe Trek FX 2 Disk comes with Tektro brakes, not the ones you have on your bikes in the States. Also, your handles are somewhat different and look more comfortable than mine made by Bontrager. I'm very glad to see that you like your bike after three months. It brings me a lot of confidence that I've made a great decision! Thank you a lot for that! Warm greetings from beautiful Croatia, European Union, all over the Atlantic sea! 👍👍👍

@@AlbertArt I myself was coming off drugs when this project took root. He’s not perfect no one is and I had nothing Good to say about anyone or anything first year or two of recovery. Very grateful too say I’m Years and years of healthy recovery not angry recovery anymore. Interesting to hear him say he didn’t want to Box anymore early on. He failed a drug test for weed which now is ok too use. In his own words he didn’t have the desire or the Work ethics needed for full time Pro Boxer. So the notion that he fell to heroin? That’s not the reason he wasn’t PAC Man. He simply wasn’t interested in being the Boxers life. Good to see he got that out far too many who knew him say oh the drugs ruined his Shot at Stardom etc when in Fact he wasn’t intrested. Gotta respect his Family before Fame attitude. I’ve seen him a few times in past few years when down that area at a Cannabiss dispensary and he always looks and sounds just fine.
