I have done this and since then the camera is working when I put it in reverse. But when I put it back into Park or Drive it stays on the camera screen. There is no way to get out of the camera screen without turning the car back on and off. Any idea how to fix this?

Put a multimedia reverse camera with touch screen in and when I put it in reverse it shows perfectly but once I let go of break it turns black. Then I hit breaks again and I can see everything behind me. Not sure why

Took me an hour and a half to install mine . I literally have zero experience just watched this clip and decided to purchase the unit . Taking off the old unit clips was the hardest part for me I broke 2 clips out of 6. Duck taped those in 😅 other than that the rest is not hard . I used a spoon as my prying tool and a screwdriver 😊 2018 civic coupe

I'm literally about to install that same thing... just a 4GB model, kinda sad that unlike the 2013+ models that have a bezel to make it look factory the 9-12 ones stick out of the dash.

@@wyattross2155 I got the Pasyrtm version 4GB ram/32GB storage. They all run pretty much the same hardware, but the software they load is slightly different, like mine doesn't have that version of the interface. I notice a little lag int he rear camera I had to buy a Scosche CRTCR01 adapter and modify it to make the factory rear camera work. Google maps app built in is laggy as all hell and doesn't go into night mode, but via Android Auto is good (the app mine uses to do it connects via wifi to the phone and doesn't always connect fast or reliably). Audio quality (I have the factory Alpine system) is really good, don't use the pre-sets to much or the sound gets muddy. The Junsun brand 4GB/64GB would have cost me $130CAD more. Not sure about the AudioVisionUSA brand, but other youtube vids of Junsun or AudioVisionUSA versions seem to work a bit better than mine, more options that work better. *Edit if I were given a do-over I'd do it again, just maybe with a different brand for the different software.
