Yes, the truck portion of the game is hard, but it’s nowhere near as hard as protecting John Connor from the T-1000 helicopter later in the game! That helicopter level is BY FAR the most annoying, and the most difficult portion of the game, and it’s not even close!

I remember playing the MS-DOS version of this when I was young. I found it to be a solid game for the time (it was fun) and as a movie-tie-in game it was above average.

Personally, I think the gunner at the back of the truck that John Connor is driving, is just for show. He is so useless.

According to Zeusdaz, who does unemulated Amiga playthroughs, and has a full copy of the game without the bug; the bug that made it impossible to progress past Thursday was that there was still one more enemy whose blood you had to drain (and starting in Thursday you had to sometimes go back to the same room as more than one enemy could appear) but she never appeared, hence why you couldn't progress, and one of the other characters was even glitched in the original version where she was glitched like the "Missing No." glitch in Pokemon.

Rolling Thunder is tough as hell, Code Name: Viper is tough but fair and a fun game. Great music as well.

I just watched the actual movie and this game is way too inaccurate in the submarine part. The submarine started to flood and is pointing downwards. In the movie, Bond and Dr Christmas Jones heads to the submarine’s ballast controls. Bond goes out of one submarine hatch and swims upwards to another. Then Renard who’s underneath him loads a plutonium rod into a chamber. Bond didn’t kill Renard by just strangling him (since in the movie Renard has no sense of pain) instead, when Renard does another attempt on loading the rod, Bond took an air hose, plugged into a port in the chamber and flicked a switch which causes the air pressure to backfire the rod Renard was loading and it plunged through his belly like a sword.

Frankly I'm surprised that Rev. Wilbert Awdry, the creator who was still alive at the time, never sued Ocean for that since it was blatant copyright infringement.

And boy are you right, those graphics are almost 16-bit, sunsoft can always do that, just look at batman return of the joker.

Sunsoft almost made a good superman game, what is it with those guys making good games, being different from everyone else, good gameplay, good graphics, good music, that is what they can do.
