That doesn't sound like a little kid question. That sounds like an adult question. Children don't question the point of existence. The point of existence is to exist and marvel at the existence in yourself and all of the things around you. Children know this instinctively and they only unlearn this because of adult ideas. I think people are missing the point of what he’s saying. My older sister decided to never speak to the family again after being unable to pay back everyone for the money they borrowed and sold her condo my parents bought her to live with her in laws. My younger brother is so sheltered and in his room constantly to get away from my parents hostility towards each other since they never spend quality time with him anyways. And my parents are constantly arguing about the same things over and over again, running away when they’re upset and not talking to each other for weeks or months on end, using me or my brother as messengers. Where that actually is the better alternative, because I remember once seeing my dad choke my mom after she clawed at his face during a fight. I was maybe 9 years old So while tough times are hard and they change you fundamentally, to where you may never get that innocence back. Instead we learn such hard lessons early on which force us to develop self-awareness, intuition, pattern recognition, discernment, setting boundaries, distancing ourselves from abusive people or places, etc. Even if you don’t agree, i found value in what sadhguru said in this video
