Aerodynamicists will be studying this video for decades: a one and a half ton racing car, 230 miles an hour, inverted 4 feet off the ground, and it actually twists in mid-air before landing on its nose and surfing over other cars.

Does no one realise he slightly hit the catchfence? Thats what ripped his tire and some debris off.

Never realized how insane this wreck was The only other time I’ve seen a car roll like that I can remember was Christopher Bell at Daytona a few years back

I was a mechanic on the #28 At Speed Motorsports Porsche. That was a really rough start to a 24hr race. We got it repair only to be taken out again by a Daytona Prototype sometime around 2am. Ugh

These things are scary to watch. They came to my local track and were going as fast as a mini stock- too fast in something that small!

Tony caused that one unintentional like the announcers say you know the air changes at Talladega they are going so fast and when you jump out of line its like popping a parachute behind you.

I watched that race back in 2007, and my chin hit the friggin floor when Kyle rolled like that. I wasn't really a fan of him but when he climbed out I cheered. That was mainly because no matter how I feel about the driver that crashes, when they walk away it is a good feeling.

As cool as this is, this would be cooler if Bud Lindeman commentated this. Besides, did he even do any ARCA races, or just NASCAR and Indy Car?
