This has become my favorite song on the album. Very powerful, sung beautifully and with a stunning music line for the lyrics in the refrains. Absolutely love it. But, oh god, it is a never ending earworm!!

I plugged this ABBA CD into a 1000 watt multiplexer with 8 30” power driven Bose speakers. The music dances all around the room in different places and parts. Talk about sound it’s incredible. The girls voices sound as if they are right in front of you and side to side and behind. This is something everyone cannot hear. You need to take the songs to a Bose store and try it in the sound room. You will then hear the real workmanship that went into this CD. I’m totally impressed by all the technical sounds. Love it 😍 100% Great work ABBA.

This is my 2nd favorite song on the album. This song, I believe has a profound message in it. It is in a way, a warning for the world. I see "freedoms" disappearing worldwide with a new rise of Communism, using a "plandemic" as an excuse. We cannot say that we were not warned.

Anyone who doesn't hum, smile, or tap their foot to this song needs ti check their pulse to make sure they're alive. Pure joy and those gorgeous voices. Wonderful, uplifting song.

Love this song

It has a Celtic sound I think, with environmental lyrics. It reminds me a bit of Time (Frida and BA Robertson - do please give it a reaction if you haven't heard it. It's wonderful, trust me.) Frida is magnificent here, and Bjorn's lyrics are fine but not marvellous.

I'm having a good time. There are lots of great musical touches in this, and the hooks work well. You said that it's dark Abba, and this is the Abba I prefer. There's a real pressing beat to the chorus, suggesting anguish, rush, trying to get away from an unpleasant situation quickly. She can't wait to get away from seeing her ex. There is such an insistence on getting this child handed over. The whole thing is menacing and the little SOS hook at the end is amazing.

This sound is a banger. It's in the same camp as the Winner Takes it All and The Day Before You Came. Good reaction, interesting perspective and your cat/dog confusion was fun. I'm disappointed you didn't bond with this in first listening and hope that you do at time. Your "Little Things" review isn't accepting comments, btw.

Hey K, nice to see your review. I didn't like this song on first listen. But after hearing it a few times I began to like it. It's going to be so popular in Scottish/Irish/Celtic settings and in folk-music circles. I agree it has an Arrival sound to it, but I also thought it had the sound of The Piper to it (from Super Trouper). It's a great song and I'm glad that you loved it. (Your reaction to No Doubt About it (Abba Voyage) doesn't allow comments btw.)

This song is so beautiful

Bjorn said it's a country tune dedicated to Tammy Wynette, hence the name for the dog. In case you don't know the story, Tammy Wynette was married to George Jones, she was addicted to prescription drugs, and he was an alcoholic, so they had terrible fights in their marriage, it was all over the tabloids, but they still loved each other. A very sad story, they're both gone now, Tammy was only 55.

Listen again. It's a song about alcoholism and the cycle of narcissistic domestic abuse.

I appreciate your parody. It was a strange music video and you captured something of it. Their super cool strolling around, tall with hands in pockets and big fashionable jackets on with the blue light and smoke machines to the upbeat pumping music with the slightly melancholic and paranoid sound. But they looked so beautiful and sounded so sharp that they make it mesmerisingly cool. Yes they really had something special! I see you appreciate the oddness of it through and have brought to light the kooky side of that video! Thanks!

Very correct, they were separately sold, at the price of $11 per disc. Maybe a little more at that time. When I ordered the box set, my confirmation email said picture disc, and so I just figured that's what I ordered. I had originally planned on briefly mentioning them, but somehow I forgot. Woops! Either way still worth the money spent. Looking forward to see what all they do for Super Trouper.

I’m late to the video, so you may know this by now. But the picture discs were a different release altogether. All available separately. They did have the sleeve photos on the disc themselves.

I just found out about Vector myself. I saw him on Amazon when I was looking for toys that my students might like. He looks awesome! I'm currently binge watching videos until he arrives on Saturday. I'm pretty sure my classroom is going to have the best mascot ever!
