One of my favorite parts of this song is the "Oh!" Steve cries when seeing the next song on the set list is Gypsy Few.

The hipsters always love the part that goes, "I cut my wrist veins. I gave up everything; I wanted one thing. I got a blood stain; another mind game." But I'm not a hipster, so I like the part that goes, "I've got the whole nine yards beating in my heart." Steve is such a talented writer!

I could tell you so many details about this song on that particular night. For example: (1) The Neighborhood Tavern is a GREAT PLACE TO PLAY! The vibe is so, so real. It's like People came there to see YOU, and the Tavern has the stage set for that to happen. I mean, Logansport, Indiana is starved for entertainment, and it's inhabitants are PEOPLE, too! Therefore, the sounds of the crowd and the subsequent vivaciousness of the artists are completely apparent, even through a video of this caliber. (2) It was raining that night. The electrical storm influence was particularly powerful. When Steve first plugged in, he didn't have a shielded cable, so the monitors were picking up the electrical sounds of the storm outside. There was some terrifying lightening that night, and you could hear FEAR through the monitors. (3) There was some weird social noise of the small-town type: "I know who that is Hootin' and Hollerin'" (4) During the end sequence, the guitar looked like it was on fire with the reflection of a burning village. (5) OMEN OF DEATH!!! Mwhahahaha!!
