My mom died on June 24th 2024. My long time friend sent me this poem. It's the closest thing to describe how it feels. My mom had terminal cancer. I knew it was coming. But nothing could prepare me. Nothing I could do to plan or expect. I have never felt anything like this ever, the closest person I've lost before now is my uncle and we weren't super close. But that still broke me. Losing my mom is so hollowing. Thank you for this poem!

You love them and make “work arounds” to help them…..that’s what you do and when it’s time to say goodbye, you stay with them so their transition is not scary. That’s what you do😢

What a peaceful morning environment to wake up to! Internalizing the calmness and the power from the soft noises to own the beautiful summer day. Copper and Tod 🌸🥰🥲 well, they never stopped loving each other and they do find each other again in the end I think 🤔. Disney usually finds a way. I think this may be partly why Americans have such a hard time with tragedy. 🤗♥️
