used for lashing any type of flexible insulated conduit or wire to a steel messenger wire or other type strand ; like lashing a couple 3/0 size insulated wires to a bare nuetral wire between poles.

It won't work like that dumb engineers. If u watch the right legs the bolt holding blue to yellow gets in the way. Maybe thats why they didn't put them in the animation lol.

i have a question if the gas was on the high pressure side went through the valve it will become colder and lower in pressure but the velocity depends on the high pressure to push it forward ,but the drop in pressure is made by the valve but the flow comes from the hot gad trapped befor the valve ,the compressor is respinsible for the circulation of gas ,but the velicity depends on the hot side because not only the compressor pushes but the heat from the gas itself which is trapped befor the vqlve
@engineerknow
@engineerknow Ай бұрын
Thanks for your question! It seems like you're referring to the behavior of gas as it moves through a valve, but let me clarify how this relates to a Venturi meter. In a Venturi meter, the fluid (or gas) flow is measured based on changes in velocity and pressure. When gas passes through the narrower section (the throat) of the Venturi tube, the velocity increases due to the conservation of mass (continuity principle), and the pressure drops (Bernoulli's principle). This is different from how a valve works, where the pressure drop is primarily due to the restriction created by the valve. In your comment, you mentioned heat and pressure. While heat can affect the gas properties (like temperature), it’s pressure differences that drive the flow, especially in devices like compressors and Venturi meters. In the case of the Venturi meter, it’s the change in cross-sectional area that causes the velocity to increase and pressure to decrease, not the heat from the gas itself. The compressor in your example helps maintain high pressure on one side, and the pressure drop drives the gas forward, not necessarily heat. Heat may affect the state of the gas, but the flow rate and velocity depend on the pressure difference and the design of the system (like a valve or Venturi meter). I hope this clears things up! Let me know if you have any more questions!

How does the water rise in the static tube? If the water would have been at rest, the water wouldn't rise in it. So, I understand that the rise in the static tube should happen due to the velocity of the water, namely the dynamic pressure. Could you explain why am I wrong?
@engineerknow
@engineerknow 3 ай бұрын
water rise in capillary tube even when water is at rest. Search for capillary tube experiment it will clear doubt
@ulasmeker
@ulasmeker 2 ай бұрын
@@engineerknow Yes I know that but it occurs due to the adhesion which is a different topic. Some people say that because the pipe is a closed pipe, it creates an internal pressure which causes a static pressure and this is the best response I've heard so far.

The first one is exactly how the pistons in your engine work. Trust me I studied engineering 🤓 You see when the piston is driven down it forces the orange dial to spin which spins the crankshaft so that *checks notes* she can spin around on this dick. Huh. Maybe I studied the wrong things in college…

It's useful for educational purposes and understanding the what different systems can be implemented for a type of effect. Which is really important for training the brain to understand how these systems could be deployed in real world applications
@keahiairgid6237
@keahiairgid6237 4 ай бұрын
Some of these are currently used, on different scales in real world applications. For example, the second one is used by some models of crane in scrapyards. The fourth one is a method used by some models of steam locomotive to power the drive wheels. Saying that none of these are useful is a blanket statement and is, as such, inherently incorrect in this use case.
