Every video skips the part where they bolt on the new head unit. Did you get adapters to bolt it on to the chassis? The OEM radio is held in place by 4 bolts. How does the new one stay in place? 12:11 nice video BTW.

I watched one of your videos that was years old then watched this one from 9 months ago. Your bug is rad. You should be proud of what you’ve done. It’s a work of art. Every detail is killin’ it. I love the red interior. Did you do a video about your red detailing on the doors!?!! I want to know how you did that with the chrome trim!!!

Jason thank you so much for the kind words. I have had thing car for a long time and have cherished it since. She has come a very long way and still has a ways to go. I have documented everything on this build. The door cards have their own video as well as the design we did on the outside. There’s a playlist on my channel with all those videos and more in it. Glad to be able to help man. As for the kit it’s fine. No leaks or issues years later. Depending on how well you know yourself around the car. Could take you 1-5hrs

Love the bug! Please remember to drop and clean the strainer as well (the metal screen inside on top of the round plate, so gently unscrew the 6 nuts) since it can catch alot of the normal wear metal. Make sure you have the new gaskets too (small round paper gaskets for the screen)Keep on BUGGIN!

Yessir !! I agree on that. I don’t always change the gaskets every oil change. I maybe do it every other oil change and will do the full job with the strainer

It’s a universal PBM kit that the previous owner put on. They just made a plate that goes around the shifter to hold it

I think this is whats wrong my car. When its cold it goes into limp mode. Did the relearn and it's not helping. I think that little gromet shrinks a little when it gets cold

That’s the flywheel. Most aftermarket flywheels are lighter than stock and make that noise.

Cali cops gone find any reason to pull you over man. But in all honesty I never had that be the reason for a stop. It definitely doesn’t help when you want to talk yourself out of an exhaust ticket but it’s not terrible.

Customer didn’t end up going that route. You would have to buy another module to give signal to the head unit. Just an additional cost

I could be wrong but I’d say every 90k miles. As long as you took out then stock paper gaskets you’ll be good

The next build we will announce was specifically just for drifting and we ended up going DE. So if that’s your entry level go for it. I just wanted the best there was for the Z chassis. To me it was worth it. But for a beater drift car. 100% DE

And as for not liking your job , I've pretty much didn't like any job I had until I started driving truck local runs . Home every day and make killer $$$$$$$ . 6 figures . I have done this with 180mm length ones, the standard is 200mm. I installed them from the bottom n theres no room between the spring seat n the dust boot wheres as u have a huge gap where u can adjust preload, my height is monster trucking. Do I have to install it from the top n will this fix the issue n why?
