I enjoy your drives. I have a suggestion for you/you and your harley buddies. Ever driven Green Mountain Rd? I googled mapped it. Very long scenic road/hwy. Look for Ford Lake to stop and rest. At 1581 Green Mountain Rd is some sort of old gas station museum (look for a BA sign on a pole) . You will see old tractor/work trucks in a rusty bare metal state /on tires. Something to stare at and take a few pics. Eventually you hook back up on to HWY3>>Hwy 97 thru Kaleden and on to Penticton. ( Full tank of gas before you go!) You could meet up at Super Save Gas at Green Mt Rd near Hwy 97.

If you look back at some of my old stuff, there is a few videos of green mtn road there. Its not a museum, its just some guys collection and not open to the public, and yes, there is some old yard art there across the street and you could get some pics. ford lake is just a pond and there are some ramshackle picnic tables there you can stop at. We usually meet at the home hardware across the street when we are going that way. thanks for dropping by!!

I don't like following your buddy who brakes too much and can't hold his line in a corner. Must be from Alberta. Deciding to pass when the passing lane ran out just past Rock Creek was not the best idea either. Should have passed sooner or else on the next passing lane. Buddy needs to look ahead.

You ever listen to music while you work? I find listening to classical or jazz music gets me in a Zen type mood and feel more productive. Used to listen to classic rock but found too distracting . Or just got tired of the same old FM radio crap. Comedy radio also good if you have free wifi in your shop.

i click the Hd setting and put it on 1080p60hd (or higher) and such a much better viewing experience....sharp, crystal clear. People walking towards your camera almost in 3D. nice to see all the diff varieties of the food trucks. you try any?

A month ago, i replaced both rear E- brake shoes on my 06 Xtrail. First time ever for me to work on any vehicle brakes. I watched a few youtube vids, then i ordered parts in Vancouver/got given wrong parts/got correct parts! Anyways, finished one side. Next was the right rear, damn caliper bolt sheared off. Luckily a cousin came over who is very good with fixing cars, we go the bolt out, had to go buy two new bolts, put it all together, adjusted the E-brake . A few days later, i took my console out and adjusted my E-brake handle cable ..there was some slack, which was to be expected on a 18 yo vehicle. You ever thought of doing some step by step automotive youtube videos? I think you would make a good teacher.

Good experience mechanic doing instructional vids, maybe make a bit of youtube money. I'd do some instructional videos myself , but alas, no special skills.....unless Nose Picking is a highly sought out skill .

Hi GD, Interesting camera angle, although the front wheel is a bit distracting. Also, front tire doesn't run true, although if no vibration is transmitted to the handlebars it may not matter. Tire may not be correctly fitted on the rim, or could have a (factory?) carcass deflection.

BW, I picked that up as well in the vid. the whole front end is brand new . wheel, tire, axle, and forks. less than 1000 kms since install. nothing transmits. smooth as silk up to 120kmh.Will drag out the dial indicator and evaluate at end of season. only a couple rides left, I think. @@grumpydude6802 I told them that was a pretty weird design to not have any place to sit ,especially in their location ,where there's so many seniors relatively close 🤷♂️....they're in a residential area. They should make the one down by wholesale club no sit in, that's where all the homeless people are where they always have problems. Doesn't seem to be any homeless people down by this one on the south end of town

there has been some smoke, but there hasn't been any ash landing on cars etc. there hasn't been any smell of smoke in the air either. I think the fire is 26 km to the east of us, so we are not experiencing anything bad so far. Hope this helps!

just now checked the enviroment canada weather page for penticton. 37C. sunday 40C. so hot your beach is pretty much empty. Penticton beaches need those Mexican thatch umbrellas . anyways, try not to bake your brains!
