@@jeffmackovitch9987 it’s a fun setup with these tires… motor cogs a little so I might gear down a couple teeth and I need to 3D print a couple of risers to raise the body mounts about 1.5” to clear the tires, and I also had to grind the rear hub carrier as well as cut part of the fronts to clear the wheels when steering

Cool build! What exactly did you dremel to get more servo throw? Can't quite figure out what's stoppi the steering link

@@bosalva thanks… I dremeled out right in front of the steering links where they contact the black chassis when wheels are turned

it was working perfect when they were new 2 weeks ago and now with brand new battery and charged 100 percent nothing thanks any reason..

@@Vezinabuyck I used the cone shaped sanding/grinding bit and made the holes bigger in front of where the steering links go through the chassis… it needs to be widened toward the front to give the links more room to move

I have both going to try to put a better esc in them so they have a brake function also some suspension

@@albertdelbosco9686 if you want to first try a simple improvement, the stock system can handle a 7.4 volt 2S LiPo battery for a little more RPMs to the motor

@@xdravex11 a Hobbywing 1625 ESC… the stock circuitry can handle 2S though

I'm the driver of the red car on 3s. I put in my own ESC, the Hobbywing QUICRUN 1625 and did some dremeling in the battery compartment to get a 2s li-ion 2800mAh or 3s 1050mAh to fit. The servo is an actual servo with 3 wires, but the plug needed to be converted to fit my receiver. Sure it goes on 3s, but the motor won't last long. Oh and it likes to spin out. Out of desperation I tried putting rubber bands around the tires which actually helped a little!

@@Arad._Xl I removed the mechanical trim dial from the chassis and just trimmed it out electronically through the factory transmitter… there is quite a bit of slop in the steering because it uses a pin/shaft that just rotates inside of plastic

Unless it has a setting for standard navigation light setup (green on the right wing and red on the left) it would be a hard no for me. I've flown with the "rainbow effect" at night before and it's very easy to lose orientation. However, with standard lighting, very easy to keep orientation. Any setting for standard?

I haven’t searched for that particular pattern, but the module has over 100 light modes… everything from solid lights to traveling to strobe/flashing

You might want to invest in a j Bauer light controller for your night Radian. You can control the lights and patterns through your transmitter

I added one of these to my hangar beginning of last summer. Its a good day time thermaller, but (forgive the pun) it really shines as a night flyer. Love it. If I had one wish though, I'd like to have the plug in style wings for the lights instead of having to fish the power leads through the fuselage in order to have working lights. I did add extensions and carved out a larger pass-through opening to make life easier. Its all good though. Great video!
