Thankyou so much for sharing this. It has been quite a challenge to try and view the half time for some reason. I heard Mizzou is working towards a new stadium, I hope they add a better sound system for Marching Mizzou. It is the heart beat of the games in my eyes.

Isn't modern technology fantastic! That is really cool. Would much rather see the band/show during halftime than listen to a couple of sports guys just talking on tv.

Thankyou so much for posting. I thought I was going to be able to watch it on SEC, but it was only reporters talking. It was my sons birthday and first time playing for college football. I'm going to have to buy CES+ to watch it, is what people are telling me. I bought A ticket for September 14th. I'm ONLY going to see the halftime show, so if anyone wants my ticket to see the game only, you can have my ticket after half time.

Nice video!! My whole life I never distinguished BH from his father or grandfather Col. BH. I always thought he was the one who died early in office. Don’t see why the son was mad about the marriage. BH was an old man who was married for decades. Of course he was gonna fall for the one girl who was a similar as could be to Caroline. 🤷🏾

The only thing original about the Kennedy Limousine is the frame.Everything else has been changed.Hmmmmmmm
@ATLcentury334 Жыл бұрын
The Kennedy limousine was shipped back to the company that actually did all of the custom work on the car. I believe they are in Indiana. They stripped the car completely apart, it was originally navy blue, but Johnson had it painted black. Mechanical work was upgraded as well. This car wasn’t the only limousine in the White House fleet. In the late 60’s, another custom Lincoln stretch was used by Nixon. The Kennedy car was in the White House fleet and used by many visiting dignitaries while in the U.S. The Reagan limousine was actually an early 70’s Lincoln. After the attempt on Reagan in 1981, much like the Kennedy car, the Reagan Lincoln was totally overhauled. Since this was done in 1981, Ford supplied 1979 Lincoln rear and front body parts so the car would look “current”. After Reagan’s 2 terms were up, Ford created a 1980’s limousine which was used for the first time for the inauguration parade of George HW Bush.

Kennedy's car was flown to Detroit the next day to have the bullet hole in the windshield shot from the FRONT repaired. Thats right. More than one person made note of the bullet hole in the windshield which would have gone into the hood if shot from the schoolbook repository and it did not go into the hood.

Nonsense. The secret service had it examined as evidence and to remove traces of the President’s brain which had splattered. It was stored and was to be destroyed, however it was owned by Ford Motor Company. It was rebuilt for Johnson with a roof. Johnson may have used it a few times, but it was soon replaced and returned to FMC.

They DELIBERATELY had that LIMOUSIN without the Top...😑

The story given here about the Kennedy car is at odds with other tales about it. I read that President Johnson had the upholstery changed before it was returned to service. This would seem appropriate. Another tale is that he had the car destroyed but I don't know if it was leased or owned by the government, and yet another tale is that it was equipped with a transparent bulletproof bubble top which Kennedy chose not to have adapted for that visit. If this is the actual car, being the feature of the Presidential Limousines it should be displayed topless as it was on that fateful day That is how the public knows and identifies the vehicle.
@tomjohnson5700 Жыл бұрын
The reason the bubble top was not used is because it was a nice sunny day. Had it been raining the top would have in place.
@fifty9forty3 Жыл бұрын
@@tomjohnson5700: The story was that Kennedy himself didn't want it put on because he thought Texas was friendly to him. That sunny day turned out be the darkest and gloomiest of all days, and the top should have been installed. If RFK Jr's assertion that the CIA was behind the assassination is correct it is easy to understand why the Secret Service was compliant with the request.

@@fifty9forty3 And it was not bulletprooof.
@fifty9forty3 Жыл бұрын
@@jackeppington6488: Surprisingly not, but it was thought to be. When you think about it, if RFK Jr. is correct about his theory it makes sense not to have the top on and prevent injury to innocent bystanders and others in the car if it should shatter and scatter shrapnel. All of this happening as it did is unbelievable even after 60 years this coming November.
