vWHY?? I know exactly why Fish Farms pollution in the ocean and the severe loss of habitat on the salmon's (land habitat) in the watersheds of the Fraser Valley and encrouchment into these pristine areas must be stopped. I was on Alex's support network, to educate the public about sea lice infestations impacting on salmon smolt's survival. ? from swimming through a guantlet of sea lice infested waters, where the 125 Fish farms were located.

I tried to stay positive about fox glove since the moment my"support" worker sent me, husband and I here but the negativity here never stops. I can't stand the fact the place I live is so shameful that I could never have my family or children come here I'd basically be telling my grandchildren oh hey its okay to use drugs and drink. And it's NOT yes I AM AN ADDICT MYSELF but I hate who I am cause of it and I would never advertise that it's okay. Watching 30 of us on our front door steps all with popes hanging out of our mouths a person Ling here Ling there was the most disgusting sight I ever seen and I regret it. This place is just some where I feel like we were sent to die maybe there were good intentions s to be had in the beginning but now there is no hope this place is fucked and I wish the sorry real world could see all the bull shit and horror. I guess I could pull a u tube and live at the fox glove e. Why was our treatment homeless shelter and medical facility named after a poison ous plant. And these are the days of last five . I know I sound like a fuckedbjpvlunati and are I am but this is what Our supporti e housing turned me into

I am so sorry you are experiencing this when you genuinely want to get off substances, Nanaimo has modular housing for the homeless too on several locations, and they are all run as you describe, letting them use drugs and get pipes and needles as well, Some B.C leaders like the provincial heal officer DR. Bonnie Henry still beleive that these places are good and that weening addict's off hard drugs in the manor you described is an acceptable option towards getting clean, The thing is Our leaders with their six figure annual salaries in big mansion type homes are completely out of touch with what really going on at these places, and the streets, One of such complex is right across the street from my apartment building that went in a couple years ago in Nanaimo and its been a nightmare of drugs, arson, shootings and even murder in the area since it opened, so to some extent i feel your pain about how these awful places are run, god bless you for realizing just how harmful these drugs and building are and i hope you find a good place where you can have your family over away from as this negativity stay strong, do it for your loved ones!!!!!

Wow what a load of horse shit can u not see the mayor gritting his teeth as he spits out the dynamics of these 61 supportive housing facilities in the community of surrey. I live in o e of these non24 hour medical staff. I live in this housing that is alread in only two years turned from a nice calm almost inciting atmosphere to a dirty filthy cock roach and disease infested building. If the sorry as I all the real world could see the dishonesty and horror show that I unfortunately have to call my home. Yeah I fucked up my life ya I made shifty mistakes but now others like myself are truly begging for help and it only falls on deaf ears. I've watched people die and truly they should never passed on . Medical staff I've watched leave people sopping wet lying in their own feces or urine for over 5 hours . Asking for help and no one came. I've yelled for staff five times over and m girlfriend barely lived because the couldn't be bothered to listen to me s reaming for Narcane and still it fell on deaf ears. This place is literally more like a hospice where sick individuals are sent to die. It's disgusting as for air conditioning there is no such thing in my building only on the very first level which of course is primarily accessed by staff we don't even have ventilation in our bathrooms it's all just dead circulated air

I’m a regular visitor to the Mud Bay park. It’s a particularly good vantage point to enjoy the sunset as well as sunrise. However there were a number of occasions when I drive there only to see an unfriendly sign warning me not to be locked in. Why does this park need to be locked out? It should be open 24/7 except for seasonal maintenance work.

My favourite teacher in the world; we’ll tied with your good friend Ms. Bentley. I am so very blessed to have had you for grade 5. You’re understanding of the child’s mind and the way you embedded logic and knowledge into us was incredible and priceless. I’ve been looking for you and Ms Bentley for 25 years almost and I’m happy today to have found both of you but saddened I couldn’t share my thanks with you. You did more for me than you could have ever known. May you Rest In Peace or wherever you may be. I hope you were pulled away from us here on earth to go and teach others like me elsewhere. The world needs more of you. Love you Mr. Pollard and again thank you for everything. James Caza Grade 5 Hyland Elementary.

Why is the remembrance ceremony Christian when there were soldiers from every religion and even atheists? We should make these ceremonies secular! #LestWeForget
@urveshmundi73953 жыл бұрын
I don’t think it is celebrated as a Christian ceremony. I attended the ceremony at Whalley today and the President said in his speech that a veteran is a veteran, and war is war, and the service and sacrifice of all the veterans is equally meaningful, irrespective of religion. He especially mentioned the sacrifices of Punjabi soldiers who served in the war in great numbers. It is just how the speech at Coverdale was worded to include heavily religious connotations, but in my personal opinion, this is an exception and not the norm. I think we should definitely go on working towards the goal of a completely secular ceremonies without any exceptions. Do take a look at the global news story “B.C. museum exhibit shines light on shared sacrifice of Punjabi, Canadian troops” (November 10).

But he gets irritated by environmentalists in Surrey? He threw out the public during a hearing - so democratic eh? Can't take any criticism. Always quick to take credit for vanity projects. Don't believe it. Blah, blah, blah. Every vacant lot and green space is being staked with building proposal since COVID started like a landrush. Plant one tree to replace all those green spaces? Not sustainable.

McCallum is a raving lunatic, he is in terrible trouble with the lying about being struck by a car. Verbally assaulting city tax payers. Banning taxpayers from speaking at Council meetings. He can not be trusted regarding anything he says. He is cutting hundreds of trees in the Bear Creek Park, only to put a road in so that a certain culture can have a parking lot.. He will be called out and will not be able to get out of all the lies he has told . His day will come and Surrey will be rid of the Worst Mayor ever in Canada..

For folks who don't know Surrey, McCallum gave a convincing speech full of "all the right words". The truth is, in 2021 alone McCallum and his 4 supporting cllrs. approved the destruction of over 5,725 MATURE trees on 585 acres of City lands to build 9,964 dwellings, 18 Commercial Projects, and 10 Industrial Projects, accumulating a Tree Deficit of 9,889 mature trees.
