Blows my mind that it's an outrage to you that you may have to contribute money towards the continued upkeep of services you use.
@Eric.S069 күн бұрын
To be fair money is already contributed. Those of us who live within the jurisdiction pay taxes on facilities. I pay taxes on schools that as someone without kids I don’t use. Additionally fuel for aircraft provide a profit for the facility in the form of either fbo profits which pay rent to the airport or direct profits to the airport. There are also taxes on that fuel which are part of the moneys provided to the airport. Then there are property taxes on airplanes that go to the general fund which partially pays for the facility. So I’m pretty sure we are paying for it.
@theturboexec9 күн бұрын
How about then refund me the taxes I don’t use? My kid goes to private school, can I get my property taxes back? Eric makes a strong point. Taxes are collected all along the way from purchasing or renting your aircraft, to parking at the FBO, to every gallon of gas we buy. Now add to it every landing we make. At what point do we put a stop to this and say enough is enough? How about cut some spending if you have a budget short fall. At airports that implement this students will see a 30%+ increase in rental costs passed directly on to them. They are killing GA.

After watching this video featuring Dr. Weaver, I was intrigued and decided to check out his website. His AME services are impressively priced, especially compared to other AMEs in my area. Honestly, it might even be worth flying out from Texas to Florida for my medical when the time comes. Fantastic video-your insightful questions really add value! I can see this channel gaining serious momentum and hitting its stride in no time. Keep up the great work!

I have some questions for Andrew and I'd really appreciate if he could answer. Since I don't know his social media, I'm asking here. When you went for a 4 year college, did you attend full time or part time? How many credit did you get each semester? Was it difficult to do college and do flight training at the same time? And did you get a degree? Can you explain the step by step process to make sure you received a refund? When applying for college and financial aid, did you choose full time college credits? I'm worried that I might not receive a refund because they used the whole amount.
@RunwayLife_20 күн бұрын
We will be making another video with Andrew compiling all of these questions, and the others viewers had for him, be on the lookout for that video!

Dayton Ohio is the home of the national museum of the US Air Force. Maybe the single greatest air museum ever. It is also the birthplace of aviation with many interesting locations made famous by the wright brothers. I think it is a little more than a good place to kayak.
