Great documentation - fantastic work. Never knew about the extra gas tank in these schnitzers, very interesting choice. Is the partition/block off panel also original? I am fairly positive that sound system as well as the plywood its mounted on is not original.. and the mounting is a bit sad, however the rest of it is more than original to make up for. Incredible it still has the k-jet mechanical injection, very tough to track down information to work on these in general, let a lone a modified turbo application. Looks to be standard manual steering as most of the rest of the e21, P/S options seems to be incredibly rare. It could definitely be hidden under something though, never seen one of these turbos in such detail, so equally possible the reservoir is just relocated or underneath some piping. How much information do you have on the remaining 323i Turbos? Are all the images of the red car the same car? I know the wheels change but that would be easy enough. If so, what's that cars fate? The baur - still in existence? The H&B is fascinating with its US bumper, even the rear corner light becomes noticeable. Would absolutely love to see that white one you mention is also in the US in a video. Probably the best one in terms of colors

Incredible piece of history. My favorite of the modified e21 by far. Only have ever seen the picture of the red one and the white baur. The description on the page could use revision - it doesn't actually mention the fact they turbo'd it. The original description from the web was "lowered compression and fitted a KKK turbo unit set at 0.55 Bar combined with a huge intercooler". This car might look a lot better with the red reflector style '323i' rear panel/'heckblende' since the decal is a fairly similar tone in the back.

Hi there, Do you know where the propane shut off valve is located? Thanks
@CARANDTRAINАй бұрын
The switch is just behind the fill flap. The valve itself is near the propane tank, almost in the center of the motorhome. When the switch is on, the valve is hot, which means it consumes electricity. A point important if you want to boonedock.

A couple of thoughts: You probably want to color correct in your editing software. You should have a color temperature slider that would allow you to choose something gray in the picture and turn it grey. I also noticed a fear of close-ups, that they would be jittery. To fix that, you could 1) sneak a monopod into the display area, or 2) reduce the picture resolution down to 2k or 1080, then use the picture stabilization feature of your editing softwear. Are you going to film Entertrainment Junction before it closes?

Do instead a Flemish splice, easy, quick, safe and cheap. Your wire construction is 7x7, flexible, no problem to put a thimble in. I rigged my boat that way, only with Flemish splices, crossed the Atlantic 4 times, no failure. Google it: Flemish splice.
