So if, if P then Not Q or not R was an answer choice. It would be the wrong answer?

Looks like I flipped the inequality for the triangle inequality. Sorry! "The longest distance between 2 points is a straight line." lol. Thanks for pointing this out, for some reason I can't reply to that comment so I'll just add it here.

I lost you in part b .So why is R with the metric in (B) not complete ??
@LearnYouSomeMathАй бұрын
sorry it was unclear. The reals with the metric in B is not complete because the sequence where a_n = n is cauchy with this metric, but does not converge to a real number.

Alternatively from z^10 - 1 = 0, a primitive 10th root of unity must satisfy x^5 + 1 = 0 (otherwise, it's not primitive). Noting that x = -1 is a root, we find that the four primitive fourth roots of unity satisfy (x^5 + 1)/(x + 1) = x^4 - x^3 + x^2 - x + 1 = 0. The product of the roots equals 1 (from the constant term), and the sum of the roots equals 1 (being -1 times the coefficient of x^3).

Thank you for making these videos. I wished I had found these earlier as they would have made in difference in my first attempt at the GRE. I will be taking it tomorrow in hopes of improving my score. Hopefully, it is good enough for some of the schools I am applying to... Anyway, I hope you complete this series as it has helped so much. Thank you.
