The NA Engine with a full exhaust , air intake and custom 98Ron tune will add about 40-50kw to the standard 195kw. Granted that's not a fire breather but it's free horsepower sitting there for NA people wanting a bit more fizz and fuel economy on their standard NA set up.

What’s the trickery with the relay for the high beams? I think that is what’s going on with my R32 GTR. I wired the positive into the dash, but it only works when I pull and hold the lever.

Between LS based engines and the Barra we are certainly spoiled for choice in Australia. Where would our beloved Summernats be without these engines. One of my mates worked at Fishermans Bend and I did some contract work for GMH back in the day so these engines and the Barra hold a special place in my heart. I wish this guy would say GM rather than Chev though as Pontiac, GMC and other GM devisions use these engines. Alloy or steel engine blocks with high flow factory alloy heads plus the small overall size of the engine partly due to the OHV architecture, and the massive aftermarket support make these the engine of choice for many people for good reason. Much like the small block Chevrolet engine you can throw just about any parts combo at the LS and it will make power. I have a GM flex fuel L77 all alloy V8 in my car. 😎🇦🇺👍
