Timing belt in car was not too bad. Pull the rad fans and you have enough room. Now, EZ30 timing chains are a while different animal. 57 rounded Allen bolts just to get the cover off...

maybe I missed it but I dont think so ,Yall need to tell people trying to install this product that if the tires have been sitting still the sensors will not read, evidently some kind of battery saving feature which is pretty cool but only if you know it, I just spent about 3 hours trying to figure out why none of my sensors were working only to find out I needed to move the vehicle and they would come online😒

One minor error - Power flows from the Negative to the Positive NOT the other way from Positive to Negative / This is why Grounding point are SO critical to be kept Clean and in good shape...

@haltech, when (if ever) will customers be able to load custom backgrounds? There are new features I'd like to take advantage of by upgrading the firmware, but don't want to lose my custom backgrounds I worked so hard to make. I have been playing around with the dash setup in the NSP software and got the dash looking similar minus the background images. I've been waiting to see if this design change would be implemented within NSP. Shoot me a message with the pw for the .nexcfg files and I'll take care of it myself. Please and thank you ;)

You need to get it straight. There is ONLY 1 thing that accelerates the car and that is rear wheel torque, whether at low rpm or high rpm. Horsepower means nothing more than a calculated number that indicates what rear wheel torque can be expected with various gearings. If gearing is fixed then horsepower means nothing.

Instructions followed to a T. C4 corvette does not 2step. Input same settings other than 500rpm cut before desired rpm. Blows right past set rpm

I worked at Nissan, Ford manufacturing and Tickford….engine dress up mainly….worked with tickford at Ford to fit the turbo on line..57 second cycles..plus the new triptronic transmission….at one stage our only export was the straight sixes to the USA for rear wheel drive cop cars…..front wheel drive was taking over.

Ninedeen-ninedee-aid! =) Love you aussies from WAY up here in northern sub-arctic Sweden! First of all, i've been googling for hours now and it's HARD to get ANY info on the EDM Outlander Turbo vs the JDM Airtrek Turbo-R vs any Lancer Evo, so if you want to berate me for not searching, well, i did try! =) I'm travelling about 1200 kms as the crow flies down south this saturday to pick up my 2006 Outlander Turbo that i just bought sight-unseen. It has about 254k kms on it and looks to be in pretty good nick. Does anyone know if the engine internals are different in my 4G63T versus an Evo VII/VIII? I do believe the Turbo on the Outlander is smaller and it's only 202 hp versus the JDM Airtrek Turbo-R that has 240 hp and a semi-auto box. Also, does anyone know if the AWD system and/or the 5-speed manual in my EDM Outlander is/are weak points? I'm not shooting for big power, but it'd be nice to get Airtrek Turbo-R numbers (240 crank i believe) or maybe even Evo 280 hp numbers IF the engine and the rest of the driveline is up for it! The timing belt has (allegedly) been changed at about 237xxx, and it's just had an oil service. Thankful for any help!
